question about the story, so like, Carl's blind now, and it's mentioned he saw the a red haired girl? can he see a bit, or...? I only started reading on Wattpad so i might not know much about the Characters yet, hehe

OH! well Carl is a seer. (as said at the end of the chapter, “And thus, the seer and the scientist are awake” [?])

 so when he focused on the darkness he was able to see a near future, which just so happened to be the rebel Officer watching them, heh. He is a powerful seer but has yet to discover his full abilities.
