what are your favourite headcanons on dottolone, and what would you like to see come true in canon, if it ever happens? :)

Tsym for asking twin! <3 Here are a few headcanons in no particular order, I'm sorry it's so long but I got overexcited :'3

◇ AFAB Pantalone with Zandik doing his surgeries <3 Pantalone still loves his more femme-coded traits and is super confident in his gender identity so he still uses a lot of women's fashions in his wardrobe.

◇ I haven't posted about this before but I also love shipping Pan and Dot in a poly with Signora and/or Capitano <3

◇ Pantalone loves kids and acting like a dad for the young Segments made him really want his own baby. He's secretly very upset that Dottore experiments on children, but because of all the heinous shit the Fatui does, he keeps it buried.

◇ Dottore can drive Pan mad through the sheer power of ~antics~. They both know full well how smart and capable Dottore is and that makes it even funnier to him when he winds Pan up by doing stupid shit deliberately

◇ When Feofan first learned about Zandik's whole 'genius heretic' reputation, he was obsessed. For the first few years in the Fatui, Feo was basically a huge fanboy and would boast about how Zandik chose him for the elixir trials, and he'd hang off everything Zan said and go on about how one day he would help the doctor destroy the gods. Low-key young Syndrome vibes lmao

◇ Even though Pantalone is so calm, he is prone to breakdowns and panic attacks. Dottore gets extremely protective and guards him when this happens until he's better.

◇ Because they're huge nerds, they have stay-home date nights where they do maths and science problems/theory crafting. The only time Dottore had admitted someone being better at something than him, is admitting Pantalone is better at maths ^w^

◇ I've also got a big post for my new hc for Pantalone and Zandik’s relationship coming~

For something I'd want to see in canon? The obvious answer is I'd love them playable TvT And that they have voice lines where they talk about each other and it's obviously bitchy but also gay as fuck <3

I know you post wg stuff sometimes so I was just curious: do you think Pantalone would try to fatten up Zandik as a kind of love language? He’s probably experienced a lot of food insecurity and starvation/malnutrition due to growing up in poverty so maybe he tries to compensate by spoiling Dottore and his segments with plenty of meals and treats so he doesn’t worry about them going hungry like he did.

In a word, ABSOLUTELY. Pantalone works so well with WG scenarios with the poverty-to-wealthy background. And with Dottore not taking care of himself properly (working ridiculous shifts and living off stimulants rather than "waste time" eating) he clearly needs to step in.

In my personal headcanon Feofan was abandoned by his family as he was considered just another mouth to feed. His last memory of them was being told they'd "be right back, stay here." He realised that they viewed him like a parasite, consuming while returning nothing. As such Pantalone directly associates gifting food without expecting anything in return as showing you want someone, you value them and you won't abandon them.

I imagine for young Segments like 8 and 18 it's very parental. Keen on them eating healthy but slips lots of sweet treats!

For Zandik and older Segments where the relationship is romantic? No holding back. Every pound they gain is proof Pantalone loves them and would do anything to take care of him. It doesn't hurt that Dottore wears the new weight extremely well at every age.

And of course when Dottore realises the meaning behind it, he would reciprocate. I think Pantalone would naturally have an unhealthy relationship with food. He craves it now he has it but he's also paranoid about how others view him. Dottore helps with science jargon about nutrition and eventually just bluntly telling him how good he looks with a belly. <3

You made me curious about who Mort and Senya were and so I looked through Epic Seven's character list and was so confused that Senya was not a man, I ... I FUCKING FORGOT STRAIGHT SHIPS EXIST HELP. Mort looks kinda serene but also like he's trying to oppress 2000 years of corporate life, it's a fascinating expression, in his official art. Anyway really cute pair, I hadn't heard of that game before!

AAA forgive me for the straight ship for I have sinned--🙏 E7 is great! It's a F2P friendly gacha and (most of :P) the writing is really great! Mort and Senya are my problematic favs. Canonically Senya is in love with him but he diiiiid kinda kill her whole village/family, keep it secret from her, and manipulate her even harder when she realised she had a crush on him. He's obsessed with finding someone who can kill him in battle so he trains her from scratch wanting to eventually have a death battle with her. So when I draw them I am basically just. imagining an AU where he isn't a huge dick and they can be happy lmao. Like, a scenario where the truth comes out but it's a catalyst for him to start giving a shit about other people and put in the work to change. Senya is a baker and I love fluff of her baking pies and him totally losing his will to be a warrior anymore once confronted with human food lol. My other big E7 ships are Schniel x Tywin and Ray x Elena (eww eww more het filth forgive me <3)
