To be honest, I’ve had a pretty tricky couple of weeks (everything is fine now!) so I haven’t been writing at all, and I feel terrible about it! I’m hopeful that this spring I can finish posting the rest of “Scooby Doo and the Book of the Dead” and now that things are (sort of) back to normal I’m hoping I can get back on the horse!

Would you consider writing more Fraphne? I've noticed that Shelma seems to be your main focus and I feel like Fraphne takes a backseat a lot of the time. You're such a good writer that I feel like you could write INCREDIBLE Fraphne fics (though maybe make them call each other names other than "babe" lol).
First of all, thank you! I'm glad that you like my silly cartoon fanfiction enough to write to me about it. :)
Fraphne will have some more screentime (fic time? lol) coming down the pipeline in the Terror Time series. I had an epiphany in the summer of 2022 when I wrote my smuttty Stranger Things oneshot and realized that I was not half-bad at writing love scenes. I don't want to give anything away, but Fraphne-enthusiasts may be very excited about a certain chapter that will be coming up in the third Terror Time installment, "Scooby Doo and the Warlock's Curse." ;)
That said, I have always had trouble writing Fraphne. I think it's because I just don't find them as interesting as Shelma, and I'm not sure why that is. Maybe because I always felt like they were an established couple (or at least, more established than Shelma which was not established at all until Mystery Incorporated -- and that Shelma was the most toxic mess of anything) and so I didn't find it interesting to write about people who were already in love, and knew that they were already in love. I hope that makes sense!
I don't hate writing Fraphne, I just prefer to write Shelma. In fact, I can say with a lot of certainty that almost all of the Fraphne in the Origins series would have been mostly just implied, with no real scenes to themselves, if not for reviewers and commenters who were clamoring for more Fraphne. I know it's certainly the more popular ship, so I gave them their own little stories within the fics.
Writing Fraphne is a challenge, but it's a fun challenge! So don't worry -- I promise, you will be seeing more Fraphne in Terror Time!

So! Things have been pretty hectic lately and I've had trouble finding my bearings. But I feel as though I have my feet firmly under me again, so I'm hopeful that I'll be ready to start updating "Scooby Doo and the Book of the Dead" again relatively soon! There are only three chapters left, so I can see the end of the tunnel!
My question for you, my dear readers, is this: which of these would you prefer?
1.) Updating the story whenever I finish writing a chapter, with the understanding that it may be several weeks between updates?
2.) Finishing all three chapters and then updating the story weekly as per usual, with the understanding that it may be several weeks before all three chapters are done?
Please let me know! I just feel awful for making you all wait so long, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding!

We miss you over at FanFiction!! Just writing to say that I have a snow day today (as a teacher) and I'm thinking about the chapter in One For The Money where the gang has a snow day and they go sledding! Memories : ' )
Oh my goodness thank you so much for writing this! I loved writing that scene — I wanted something to help establish the gang’s budding friendship (and Daphne warming up to Fred 😏) and sledding on a snow day off school seemed like a perfect way to do that!
I miss being on Fanfiction! 😭 I have been so incredibly busy with my real life I haven’t had any time for writing! It’s so frustrating! I’m hopeful that things will slow down in the spring so hopefully everyone won’t have to wait too much longer for the final few chapters of “Book of the Dead!”

How many chapter do you plan on making the Beuagard fic? And how many Terror Time installments do you plan on writing?
At this juncture, “Scooby Doo and the Beauregard Game” is scheduled to be 20 chapters long. I’m also planning on 4 installments in the “Terror Time” series! I have a great majority of each story plotted already…now I just have to sit down and write the damn things. I’ve just recently gotten over a (thankfully mild) case of COVID so I’m hoping to get back on the horse soon!

Thoughts on Fred, Daphne and Scooby Doo? (Long story short, I have been on a recent Scooby Doo binge. And I began to notice the interaction between them three. All I could say for that was... "They're so damn cute like I wanna hug them!")
A super underrated trio! They don't get a whole lot of time together -- usually when the gang are in the "let's split up and search for clues" phase of the mystery, Scooby pairs off with Shaggy while Fred, Daphne, and Velma go together. Occasionally Velma accompanies Scoob and Shag, but Scooby really doesn't go off with Fred and Daph all that much. But I agree with you -- Fred, Daphne, and Scooby as a trio don't get NEARLY enough time together. I recently started watching "Be Cool," and just watched the episode where Daphne is helping Scooby train for a dog show, which was super precious! And the episode of "Mystery Incorporated" where Shaggy and Velma are otherwise occupied while Scooby, Daphne, and Fred are running from the gator people is great! I love how Fred just scoops them both up to jump on the bed. The three of them have a fantastic dynamic that needs more screentime!
