Did Appledusk ever live in ThunderClan? Or if he was still in RiverClan, how did Spotteddusk get to ThunderClan?
To answer this question let me tell you about this canon character because the situation ties into my AU! In the canon books earlier in history before the time of Appledusk and Mapleshade, Ryewhisker is a WindClan cat that is in a half clan relationship with Cloudberry. During this time, halfclan relations weren’t frowned upon or discouraged as heavily as it is in the current timeline. However it is seen as unusual but nothing more. And in canon Ryewhisker during a raid he died while trying to protect Cloudberry. In my AU none of this happens and this event occurs later after Appledusk’s death between two unimportant characters.
So to answer this question, he didn’t live in ThunderClan, but he did often visit. And he did temporarily stay with ThunderClan until his and Birchface's daughter had been weened off. But he allowed their daughter to choose which clan they wanted to stay in. I like to self-project, so Apple is trans and the technical mother of his and Birchface's daughter. Petalkit,Larchkit,and Patchkit still exist in this AU by the way except they survive the flood and none of Crookedstar's promise happens the way it does. Mapleshade’s vengeance also occurs a little differently but I will rewrite that soon. Crookedstar’s promised It occurs differently but I haven’t planned that out yet.
