what is a dream and what is a nightmare nowadays? sunny only knows the vague line between them. one bleeds into the other, what looks horrid may be pleasant and what looks pleasant may be horrid. or what seems nightmarish may simply be nightmarish; black space bleeds into everywhere now, and sunny is alone. everything seems so real. ( sunny hates that part of him wants omori to come and save him. doesn’t sunny hate all parts of himself, though? ) he struggles--does he defend himself? why should he? hero knows. this hero, a manifested portion of the dark depths of his mind, knows his sins because sunny knows his own sins.
do not look at the fabrication. a habit sunny has retained along the lines of "out of sight, out of mind." whether it be a good one or not, it is ingrained in him--even if in his own mind, it is simply out of sight. so, he does not turn and rest his gaze on the other. doing so would make things worse.
he does not know why fight spurs in him, but he rebels against the statement in his silent, defiant way--he does not disagree with the diminuendo of self-opinion, but marks his reply with persistence that sharpened the bow of his violin. “ i c... i can learn. ”
