In regards to overwatch I would say that there is literally no story in the actual game. The game itself is solely a multiplayer shooter if you're into competitive shooters then overwatch is amazing and totally worth buying but if thats not your style it might not be worth it because all the actual story is outside of the game (The character backstories are on the website/wiki and the ongoing story is told through the animated shorts blizzard is gradually releasing)

Thanks for the info! I can’t say I’m the biggest shooter guy but I literally only played one in my life and that was from some call of duty game somebody loaned me (which I lost and have no idea where it is, but I haven’t been chased down for it) Maybe I’ll try it at some point maybe not but I guess now this give me a motive to watch those shorts.

Your opinion on One's rising popularity/how MP100 will fare

As a guy who liked his stuff before the anime came out, I will admit that it’s a touch sad to have this sort of ‘niche-but-not-really’ work I like become popular and super bloated with possible crazy people, but I’m happy for his success. The guy really deserves the publicity and it’s nice to not have him fade out of existence like Satoshi Mizukami (SERIOUSLY WHY HAS NONE OF HIS STUFF BEEN ANIMATED, THEY’RE TOTAL ANIME STORIES.)

As for Mob it depends, I think it’ll make a better first impression than say, My hero academia because it’s not quite as “I’ve heard this story before” compared to that but also with One’s name now meaning something to people, a lot of them may flock to check it out. Maybe there will be some people complaing about the differences and similarities to OPM and why he’s working on two series but I couldn’t care less about that at this point. It’ll probably do fine with the only issue being whatever the shitty side of the fandom will be like, as with every fandom. And again, I don’t care about them.

Your opinion on digimon

I like the series… in terms of anime. Couldn’t pay me to sit through the grinding of the games and the various manga series from what I’ve seen is pretty mediocre stuff at best. I like Suzuhito’s art style (as same facey as it can be) just fine, but seeing his sexuilized visuals attached to digimon is bizarre to me.

In terms of anime seasons:

1- I like it, good Kids adventure with legitimize threat danger and growth. Little rough around the edges in places but still enjoyable, even if I didn’t get into it when it was on fox kids and watched everything on youtube (three parts per episode, yeesh.)

2- Sometimes amusing, liked Vmon only because he was blue but otherwise what a train wreck. Long form analysis videos about how bad it fails are great sources of entertainment for me.

3- My favorite, one of the few times being dark and edgy actually worked, but they didn’t go so nutso to have a inconsistent tone and narrative so I really dig it. Plus this leader got his OC to be his partner that was cool even when I was 7.

4- Thought was alright at first but after a re-watch not so much sadly… None of my problems with it have to do with the fact the kids turn into digimon though, that’s fine.

5- Some cool things like Aumon and Gaomon’s designs and evos and Masaru punching EVERYTHING but kind of meh

6- Liked the first half sort of but the second half and time wars SUUUUUCKED.

Tri - We kinda messed up tai but so far it isn’t horrible and is actually entertaining so I’m cool with it. They really didn’t use Aki Utsuya’s designs to their best potential though (I mean really look at Tsuritama and Cencoroll, we could have had a legitimate successor to the Masoda movies in terms of animation if not designs.)

Your opinion on the current generation of consoles and games

Not really a hard core gamer so I wouldn’t really know.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Or rather I don’t know enough about the hardcore gaming world to have an opinion, I don’t even have a ps4.

So are you still keeping up with Grimgar? I still have no idea why I'm still watching it.

Yeah, but I’m in the same boat man, I don’t know why I’m still watching it either. I guess it’s because it’s not godawful or anything (but man does this show have it’s moments) and looks relatively nice but the visuals kind of loose their spark (at least with me) once you’re used to them and they decide to make 3d sequences and the characters are feel cut and pasted on to the background. 

I keep thinking the characters’ll do something and they… kinda do but they feel as 1 dimensional as they did in episode 1 so…. I dunno. I would say I’m still watching it because it doesn’t really piss me off, but Ranta exists so…. I dunno. It’s weird, I’m as confused as you are.
