whats the last “new” food you tried? open to interpretation ❤️ can be a new brand of food you’ve had before or a new type of snack or a new meal you cooked for the first time or new food you ordered at a cafe!!
alternative (or bonus) question: what are some new foods you wanna try?
I know you have not asked for this but you're gonna receive a cereal essay 😅 but first, the last new thing I tried were 2 flavours of my favourite cereal: Cheerios chocolate and Cheerios strawberry banana. If you don't feel like reading the rest that's fine, I'll be just rambling 😌
To this day I have tried 5 flavours of Cheerios: original, honey, very berries, chocolate and strawberry banana. The last 2 being the latest. Here they only sell original, honey and more recently red berries which is a new flavour. But checking out b&m I came across the chocolate and strawberry banana flavours coming from Canada🤩 so my Cheerios-loving ass wanted to try them despite the price (£4.50 for 400g box when I can buy the 800g original for £4) Anyway, I bought them and now I'm gonna rank them cause I love Cheerios and cause I can 🤣
Number 1 is the original flavour
Classic cereal flavour with a hint of sugar. Round and delicious, I can eat handfulls and handfulls until I've run out of milk. 10/10 perfect in every way
Next up, number 2 are honey flavour
Slightly sticky, warm and honeyed rings. These ones come in only golden yellow colour unlike the double colour of the originals. Sweeter and still pretty solid 9/10 they sweeten the milk a little bit
Number 3 will be chocolate flavour
These surprised me a lot actually cause I tend to avoid all-chocolate cereal. The chocolate is not overwhelming but it's flavourful and gentle. They turn the milk into chocolate milk, 8/10 would eat again
In number 4 come strawberry banana
Cute pink and yellow colour, they smell like artificial strawberry flavoured things. The flavour comes entirely from the coating, they taste like original Cheerios covered in strawberry powder. Fun combination 6/10 not much banana sadly
Number 5 and last, are very berries flavour
Newest flavour here and I'm hoping it doesn't stay. They taste incredibly of berries which in my opinion don't mix well with milk. They're all pink and they leave the milk with a hint of pink colour and a terrible aftertaste. 2/10 it took me way too long to finish the box when I bought them to try
Something I found interesting is that the Canadian Cheerios are not made/produced by Nestlé but by General Mills. I haven't done any research about it yet and it could be that General Mills is a subsidiary of Nestlé in north america but I found it curious🤔 They still feel like Cheerios from the box alone with the big "WHOLE GRAIN" propaganda and taste wise too xD but I like that the canadian bowls are hearts instead of regular bowls.
Overall I'm happy I tried them and I'm excited to see if there are any other Canadian (or non UK) flavours of Cheerios to try. That will just give me another reason to love them. Cause In Spain I don't remember ever seeing Cheerios... I would have eaten much more cereal growing up if I had 🤣 are there Cheerios over there, ship??

And to answer your bonus question, I've been curious about Filipino food for some time. There are a loooot of Filipinos where I work so I've been snooping on the food they bring and it always smells super good🤤
Before I pass tf out I just want all of you to know
When I get sleepy Redd gets the WEIRDEST pictures/messages from me bc my incoherent brain switch gets flipped on
Normally I have some self control about what I say and shit but whenever I’m sleepy? Whatever I say should not be held against me bro, I didn’t mean to say it but I did but also I was TIRED man
Animatronics at Jungle Jim’s International Market. They have two stores in Ohio. These pictures show The Big G Cereal Bowl Band (made up of Lucky the Leprechaun, the Trix bunny, and Buzz the Honey Nut Cheerios bee), Elvis (who is The King from Pizza Time Theatre wearing a different outfit), Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest (located in the British foods section), The comedy team Corn and Butter (apparently the newest animatronics added to the store), a giant talking Campbell’s soup can on a swing, Jungle Pets (The Warblettes from Pizza Time Theatre), Ask the Brain and Pedro (who is a retrofitted Pasqually from Chuck E Cheese). i got the loading pinwheel of doom after i sent you my grocery ask, so here it is again, just in case you didn't get it; if you did get it, please feel free to delete this or save it for another time!!
my ask will depend on whether you wanna answer this before or after you and your sister go grocery shopping:
if before:
• what's on your shopping list of things you plan to buy? (can be a tangible list or a mental list)
• what item are you most excited to buy?
if after:
• what's something you bought that you're most excited to consume?
• what's something you saw and thought about buying but didn't?

Hehehehe this is for after!! We ended up buying some mince pork to make rice bowls for lunch. And we already have some cucumbers at home which make the perfect addition 😋 I ended up buying jelly as a snack for myself since it was on sale hehehe jelly is so exciting! They sell it in little pots suitable for kids and so the best way to eat them is just to suck them out. It's such a silly, wonderful, slightly dangerous way to eat jelly that I cannot be upset at the same time xD the way it just rolls around like an unraveling ribbon is so delightful 😝
Did I see something I wanted to buy??🤔 Not this time I think, I wanted to buy greek yogurt with honey but they didn't have the brand I usually buy so I didn't try any new one so no yogurt this time, only jelly
Brighton was very fun! Right after arriving we were slapped with the familiar ocean scent in the air and we loved it 🌊 we went on the touristic bus and snooped around the vintage market. My sister agrees that despite all the hills, it could be a nice place to move to 😊 We also went to get ice cream at Sprinkles mmmm I forgot how good their ice creams are, it's a shame that the only one in London closed up...
Next trip will be Bristol but that one is 3 times more expensive so we gotta take some time to save the money for it😅

I'll answer the first part first 😁 on the list there is: something for lunch for the next couple of days (don't know what yet), piña colada & banana smoothies (pineapple, coconut and banana), milk for sister and lil snack for me. As you can see my list is very vibes based 🤣 some days are "whatever we see first" type of days.
I'm most excited about the smoothies this time 🤭 they're delicious and creamy. I'm not much of a "bought" smoothie kinda kid cause I prefrer making them myself but my sister is, so we bought them recently to try and OMG it was so good🤩
would love to know about a creative project you’ve worked on recently!! if there isn’t one you wanna share, would also be cool to know about one you hope/plan to work on in the future 🎨
loved when you asked me this and will probably ask you this several more times hehe ❤️
Unfortunately I have not been feeling very creative lately😣.... Do you remember that robe I wanted to sew for my friend?? I still haven't even started it yet and it's hot already 😩 my sister says that this is just a rough patch and I have to take it easy and have patience but I don't like it.... It makes me feel useless and that all I do is work and sleep when I want to enjoy the things I like... But for now I guess the creativity well is dried😮💨
As for things I wanna do in the future, my sewing list is very full though: my friend's robe, a cute summer dress for Shouko, underwear for Shouko, a full skirt for Shouko, a sock sweater for Shouko and some underwear for my sister. I also want to learn how to sew with shirring elastic and get better with waistbands and sleeves. Oh and also fix the holes of a vest I thirfted some months ago and try a technique to transfer the print from one shirt to another
Non sewing stuff... 🤔 I don't think there is much.... I've been wanting to try journaling with cute stickers but I always forget...
