Lightweaver, I come to you with a question. Against all odds, and despite my best efforts, I (A Shadow-Alligned Nocturne) have found myself blinded and entranced by one of your children. We are both male, but I know he shares my...romantic tendencies, and yet... I find myself afraid to approach this Mirror and gaze upon him, that I might find myself lacking. How do I court one of yours in a culture appreciate way? I do not wish to offend, but I'm unfortunately blind to the correct procedure.

Well, well. I myself have not courted anyone that I can currently remember, and may not be the best to go to for advice. I will try though.

Firstly, does your beloved have a job or a hobby related to what is seen as "typical" for Light dragons ? I am thinking scholar, historian, archaeologist... If he does, then by all means show your interest in it and what he has to say about it! Is he researching something in particular ? Maybe there's something he needs you might gift him. If not, before thinking of him as a dragon hailing from Light, think of him as himself. Maybe he thinks archiving and the like are perfectly boring and he has a hobby of crafting pots.

Secondly, please do not think of yourself as lacking. Truly, the simple fact that you're willing to go to lengths to look for help to woo him ? It shows your dedication and thoughtfulness to me.

Lastly, procedure really just depends on the dragon. I may not date myself, but the only constant I've seen in the relationships between my exalts, was truly spending time together and enjoying it. My good Nocturne child, i think the key might lie there - spend time with him. Surely you two will manage to sort your feelings for one another, and maybe go on to something great!
