"Van der Waals interactions" is sort of an umbrella term for several different molecular attractive interactions, including dipole-dipole, dipole-induced dipole, and London dispersion forces. It's very interesting stuff, and it is what allows me to walk on almost any surface without problems!

Well, once when I was just a little Treecko I slipped away from my parents and climbed the tallest tree in Fortree! I think it was right around 300 feet high!
