Update:

•I broke my ankle 2 places last April. 2 month non weight bearing. 2 1/2 months pt. It healed have some nerve damage

•My mom died in May of a stroke

•husband almost died internal bleeding: 28 units of blood about 30 hours. My mom was icu south of me, my husband icu north of me same day. Hubby did survive fortunately.

•My dad feel and broke his femur fortunately not hip in September. Getting released tomorrow from hospital.

•understaffed at work. Need at least 3 more co-workers but the pay isn't worth it for most

So, I went to the doctor and found that I have tendonitis. She said that I need to rest my hand and change the position I draw in.

I say this for two reasons:

1. I will be taking a lot longer to finish those asks you all sent in. Even though I did change the position of my hand before this appointment, I definitely have not been doing the resting part. This also means typing so I'll be avoiding Tumblr altogether to minimize temptation to type. So you won't hear from me in a while.

2. Hopefully this might be encouraging to someone. I've already changed the position of my hand for drawing and writing. It's been a month now. At first my handwriting and art were not very good. But I've seen significant improvement and it's only been a month! So if any of you ever has a situation like mine where you have to draw or write in a different way and you feel like you'll never be as good as you once were, rest assured that things will get better.

OK! It’s about time that we talk about the future of this account.

We’ve been very burnt out as of the last few months in terms of doing requests. We’ve had fun doing these requests and bonding with regular askers, but there was definitely a lot of internal pressure to keep up the requests (plus our perfectionistic self makes us spend too much time worrying about whether people will like what we give them). Plus, we’ve been pretty busy with school and getting ready for college, and our hobbies and lifestyle doesn’t really allow for consistent requests.

SO. As of today, this account will permanently be closed down. I won’t delete this account, but I will stop posting from here. Anyone can use anything I’ve made throughout this account’s lifetime (unless the requester wishes people to not use it).

Someday we may open things up, but that is highly unlikely. HOWEVER, I will allow mutuals to ask for things like userboxes or wallpapers (although I may not always do them; it depends on our energy level and availability).

Thank you all for the amazing ride we’ve been through. It was great building up our skills and getting to know all of our requesters.
