Well one thing vld did pos-s7 is see people who only cared about k/eith bc of k/lance lol

i can’t tell if this is an accusation towards me or a general statement, but if it’s the former, then i’m gonna have to say no. keith and lance are my fave characters, and with keith in particular I can relate because we have sort of similar personalities. watching s7 made me angry because they butchered his character, but I could never hate him, so I basically just....chose to ignore his s7 iteration because I don’t consider it to be truthful to who he is, but just the resul of messed up writing. if you’ve followed this blog or whatever you know i’ve been very much always happy with the idea of keith developing as the leader. but in s7 this came a lot at the expense of what was appealing about his personality/character.

he sounded....idk how to say this like....he was like a robot always saying the same “we’re a team we stick together report team” bla bla all the typical leader lines but it felt like.....like there was all there was to him. like in order to be the perfect leader he had to do a complete 180. and in part, this came at the expense of lance like....throughout the season he was always nice to him (except the part where they all yelled at each other but I don’t count that at all considering the state they all were in and none of them definitely meant any of it) but it wasn’t really reciprocated?? like whenever they interacted they felt more like teammates than friends. they do the work and it ends there, which to me was a regression. not to mention that I find the whole ““oh I picked lance because I don’t want to spend the eternity with him!”1!1 so dumb like....lance’s called you the future and this is how you repay him???? and i’ve already mentioned the “don’t miss” scene. but yeah, anyways I definitely know there are some people who hate keith and this season is perfect for them because you can’t really defend his behavior but I swear most of the people are just hurt that their favorite/comfort character has been ruined by shitty writing and along with that, their fave ship as well. and if the two things are lumped together it’s because they’re sort of connected and also most people are also hurt by how lance got treated this season (not just by Keith but in general). I think I went on too long but short answer: I don’t like keith only for klance i’m hurt because they ruined a character I liked and related to a lot and on top of that his ridimension also sorta ruined klance. but I will keep loving his character i’m just basically ignoring canon because canon tells me bullshit
