Does Ruth ever do that standard cartoon thing where she rolls up her fur like a sleeve (like shes gonna punch someone) so you can see her skin is brown underneath?

All the toon characters in Anvil Wings do all the cartoony slap stick and gags

However, they are all destined to be in black and white even if they run around Earth's colorful reality so you'll never see any true color on them, save for when they grab an object from our world. So her skin under her fur would be a dark grey instead of white.

If Wesley did the same thing gag, his skin would also be dark grey

For Anvil Wings, I know Tracy and Ruth work with toons, but is there like a rehabilitation program for toons with a chance? Or is it just Ruth bonking them with a wooden mallet?

Tracy and Ruth work together to figure out how exactly toons have entered reality and what exactly Wesley's damage is (both as in what is wrong with him and what all exactly he's done) as well as try to defend the general population from the killer toons Wesley leads.

The only toons that never were on board with the "Lets kill people :D" energy Wesley was putting out has been Miriam and Leroy as they both are basically the Tom and Jerry/Willie Coyote and Roadrunner of the cartoon cast where they were so preoccupied running and chasing the other around that they never truly did pay Wesley much mind.

The toons that Ruth and Tracy face are other members of the cast that were friends with Ruth once and are currently friends and followers of Wesley. He's the main character and mascot and because he's the face of everything, all the other toons believe he's right on everything. Even if they disagree, Wesley eventually gets his way because he's basically the Bugs or the Mickey or the Kermit.

Everyone loves him.

So if he says that "Humans have amazing colors inside of them and we need to paint the town red with it" then of course everyone will follow behind him.

Sadly, due to this practically cult mindset, even if Ruth beats the shit out of a toon, they'll just run right back down the rabbit hole they came from and return to Wesley.

At the moment, Tracy, Ruth, Miriam, and Leroy haven't figured out how to get their friends back to normal. The only solution they have is to try and snap Wesley out of whatever homicidal thrill spree he is having but that pesky rabbit is stubborn in his ways and is super cunning.

So the best Tracy and Ruth can do is just try to keep the body count low and beat toons before they get a chance to beat down some humans into stains.

Which of your OC's would be your worst enemy if they existed irl?

Oh man...this list is...surprisingly long because as fun as it is writing everyone, there is a good chunk with personalities that I wouldn't get along with.

I think Wesley would probably take the cake though as that rabbit only wants one thing and that's the see what colorful rainbows everyone keeps inside them.

Which means his attempts on my life would get in the way of me trying to work on comic pages and drawing everyone.

Ngl I don't imagine Jack with a southern/country accent but I do with Ruth the Rogue

That's funny because Ruth has a New York twist to her voice (she is very much the type to yell "I'M WALKIN' HERE" which fits since she is very short and easy to miss if you aren't paying attention.)

Wesley does have a more Southern lean to his voice though. Kind of a mix between Rodger and Br'er Rabbit.

Ok so out all of your OCs, we know Sweetheart and Bitterbat would get along the best with Jack and Nana. But on the other end, which other would they absolutely despise?

Any of my antagonists.

I don't see any of my protags despising each other. They may bump heads but there's no hate.

But my antags like Romeo, Wesley, and Nevermore are def the ones my protags got beef with regardless of their stories.

something to keep Weasley from getting antsy

would nevermore and weaslsy be good allies with each other both having psychological trauma from being stuck in monotonous loop for a good majority of their life so they have common interests or are their differences too great for it to work

how does weaslsy feel about fans of his shows and by extension due to his target audience kids

(also something from me but I like the fact that ruth has the more extreme personality out of the anvil wings pair. haven't seen the leading lady being the more out there of the two when it comes to parings around here. (then again there a lot I've haven't seen in the old backlog yet))

Wesley doesn't necessarily get antsy. He's rather laid back...which is very unsettling for a variety of reasons.

Nevermore and Wesley behind the scenes get along great. Both have god complexes and a talent for manipulation. Plus they love making jokes so there's that.

Wesley does enjoy having fans...especially since it helps with luring in some victims to see what colors they make. Kids are avoided though. Even Wesley has a heart.

As for ladies being the more "out there of the two", that's a thing I imagine a lot of new people think is rare around here. Truth be told, the OG couple is Red Beans and Nana is the most out of pocket gal around here. She is VERY into her farm boy.

Nova can also be very extreme and out of pocket. She's way more expressive than Pluto for sure.

Glitter and Guilt is def an outlier story in the Rockyverse which is lowkey funny because so many people see it and go into my other stories expecting the same sort of themes. BUT NOPE-Sweetheart and Bitterbat are pattern breakers.

Ruth has a big ole crush on the human but being a cartoon, she doesn't know how to genuinely express it so the best she can do is little teases and tricks.

It's unknown if Tracy reciprocates the feelings at the moment but he def has a soft spot for her.

And save for Ruth, Miriam the Mutton and Leroy the Lupine, the rest of the toons are kinda following behind Wesley with the "welcome to my sick and twisted mind scheme" since he's the equivalent of Mickey Mouse in my universe. He calls the shots and everyone follows since he's the main character so they think he knows what's best for all of them.

Aaaand Wesley and Ruth never dated. Ruth used to be the main toon before Wesley got created. They are def ex-coworkers as they used to star alongside each other in cartoons before Wesley became more popular than and eventually stole the spotlight, casting her into obscurity and cursing much of her solo toons to become lost media.
