what is one goal you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?
well, i've been trying to be a bit more vocal when it comes to creative ideas at work with isabelle and she seems genuinely accepting of what i have to say. it's a pipe dream but i'd like a chance to actually write something officially! or at least be credited for something by the end of the summer. sleep.
What are you most proud of at the moment?
My work. I’ve been incredibly happy with what I’ve been able to put together, and the reception of it has been just as good.
What's your favorite event you've worked on since joining the company?
Probably the Trevor Project Gala we did last month. I have a certain affinity for formal events and that one turned out particularly nice.
would you ever date a coworker?
I mean the parks are huge so it couldn’t cause much of a problem unless I directly dated someone else who works in Cinderella’s Castle? Even if things went south, I could probably manage to avoid whoever it was forever.
I may have hooked up with a soul or two here in the past. Possibly.
what's your least favorite thing about woking at disney?
The whole “modest is hottest” thing they’re always perpetrating. Like I know they don’t want us walking around in crop tops or whatever because it ruins the illusion, but it’s regularly in the ‘90s. These full skirted dresses and giant wigs have got to go.
do you ever get tired of doing children's hair? what's the most annoying request you've gotten?
I mostly get tired of their parents hovering and being so terrible to their kids. I mean, I get that they have a vision of how they wanted their vacation to go but the whole point is for the kids to have a magical experience.
Well, the salon is supposed to be for kids but some grown women really want to look like Elsa since that movie came out. And they don’t like the fact that we only really are supposed to do three set hairstyles. There was also a grown man who really wanted to look like Flynn Rider once which...ended badly.
