Do you know who was running the kingdom when the king & queen died ?

I'm not sure but I assume it was Kai, who seems to be the King's right hand and have Elsa help her. Like Elsa was going to be the queen so she would need to have some sort of preparation and Kai would know how things were done. 

Jennifer Lee said that they had a character for this but they took it away because it was unnecessary.

Do you think Kai was aware of Elsa's magic?

I’m pretty sure he would know. Like, he seems to be the King’s right hand and/or advisor so it would make sense if he would know about this problem the King has and wants to help Elsa with. 

He seems to be important for Arendelle, or at least for the castle. You can see him shutting the windows and then with the King before he leaves on his trip by the sea, later he wakes Anna up and presents Elsa and Anna as they walk into the ball room during Elsa's coronation.

Like if he has been around ever since the girls were babies and Elsa didn’t shut herself out then he would know or if the King confides him information then maybe he would have mentioned Elsa’s powers. He keeps the secret, though.

Hi, I'm watching Frozen right now, *squeal* and I kinda have a question that I think you could answer. Do you think Kai and the castle's staff knew about Elsa's powers? love your blog btw ❤️

My headcanon is that at least Kai and Gerda knew about Elsa's powers. I mean, Kai looks like he was the right hand of the king so he probably knows the family secret. As for Gerda, she's like the main maid at the castle.
