✦ how do you defend annies actions?
[As of right now it’s not really clear to what Bertholdt, Reiner, and Annie’s plan is other then getting all the titan shifters (and Christa) and bringing them back to the village at any means necessary.
In episode 22 a lot of people mistook Annie’s crying in titan form as her feeling extreme guilt or like she had realized what she had done and cried about it. But you have to realize, if she did what she had to do and got Eren, she would not being crying about it. The people that attack her were just another thing stopping her in achieving her goal. So she got rid of them, the easiest and fastest thing to do.
Now don’t take that the wrong way either. I wouldn’t say she isn’t down right heartless either, she had many chances to kill both Armin and Mikasa and didn’t do it. I believe she doesn’t want to kill, that goes for Bertholdt and Reiner too. In chapter 46 Eren called them out and it did seem to hit some buttons, but nothing can be for sure. In the end, if it means getting what they need done, then screw anything that gets in the way.
Now I can’t really defend Annie’s actions, seeing that we have no real idea what the end outcome is. But I believe, like many other characters, are doing what they think is the best thing to do for the situation they are in. I’m not saying they are right, and I’m not saying they are wrong either. ]
Im probably gonna do a couple more asks for preschool annie who apperenlt smokes dat lil ho.
and be done with it, cause wow i got a lot more for this then i though i was gonna.
