Ivan gathered proper shoes and fiddled around with what he was wearing, fully prepared to have it ruined in the binge drinking he was planning on doing at Matthew’s expense (literally). He re-appeared at the front of the house. “If those flowers are dead when I return like last time, I’m going to be very unhappy.”

He coughed gently before speaking again. “Thank you for allowing me to sleep in your house.” His large shoulders were curled in, as he pressed his eyes closed a few times, a little sensitive to the overhead light.

The stinging smell of alcohol was strong enough to carry a flame in the vapors. “Tell me what you know Alfred is going to do to me!” Ivan bellowed through the accent, the teeth in his mouth paused from grinding away.

“Hey, what did you order?” Ivan stalked in on the dish, like an animal of prey, his posture forward and his eyes challenging. He took the fork slyly out of his own dish and licked it.
