Interesting! Here’s one. Sometimes when I visited home from university, I would make dinner for the family. Usually it turns out alright but sometimes it gets… interesting. This curry was one of the interesting ones. My siblings sat down to eat and one of my brothers had a taste. I told him it was a little funky, so he didn’t have to eat too much. “It tastes pretty good,” he said. “Probably would taste better with better ingredients.” Before I could say anything in response he whispered, “and a better chef.” — ask-hamadahiro
