I actually showed this to a university class.

Remember when I said that I ended up watching Magnificent Century due to an assignment?

Well, the thing was about Turkish soft power, and we wanted a good allegory/meme to explain the main concepts.

There wasn't much given that what few soft power cartoons are around center on the US, Russia or China.

Obviously, me being me, I couldn't NOT also make this about dinosaurs.

Btw, the final exam had a question involving this presentation.

You're making your come back to the screens. One day will your face be aging too? In the early years, I heard a lot about facial aging. But I don't pay attention to this anymore. In this sector, we grow up together, along with the viewers. The actors become performance oriented. And they expect remarks like "Let's see will he be changing?"

Because clearly watching five airing Turkish shows is not enough, I am going to get back to Ask-I Memnu, aka Forbidden Love aka the show that singlehandedly would give today’s censors heart attacks seventeen times per episode. (It literally could not be made today.)

I have loved what I have seen of this torrid, doomed tale of love between a young wife of an old rich man and that man’s young playboy nephew. It’s just eighty eps and I have no attention span. But back to it!
