- ¡Lo he buscado por todas partes y no lo encuentro! ¿¡Vale!? ¡Es como si hubiera desaparecido!

Suspiró la diosa, pues le causaba frustración el que haya sino en vano su búsqueda.

So lemme talk for a minute about my ship with @ask-ishtar

I will admit that at first the notion of such a ship as Gilgamesh and Ishtar had me squinting because of their interactions in the Epic of Gilgamesh. However after talking to the mod of above blog (who I’ll refer to as Ish for the sake of ease from here on) I discovered just how narrow my view was. And these talks of ours really did open my eyes to the possibilities.

I’ll give the short version for the sake of time.

Basically the idea was derived from the possibility of Gilgamesh and Ishtar being able to speak to one another again after everything that happened. And speaking rather evenly because of past relations between them from before the events of the Epic. I’d go into details but that’s a whole other post in and of itself.

Suffice it to say when you take in more of the myths and don’t just look at the Epic in a vacuum, the idea does not seem so far fetched.

And from our talks, and a few small threads, the ship has become something quite passionate. Given that these are two people with very strong personalities, the whole situation has a lot of high emotion going for it. It’s something I truly enjoy talking with Ish about when I get the chance. And hopefully soon we’ll put some ideas into motion and show all of you this thing of ours.

Because I truly enjoy the foundation we’ve laid and all the possibilities we’ve discussed. Gil and Ishtar are an incredibly passionate couple, really.

Love Letters! | No longer Accepting

Ishtar,

I’m leaving a letter because I’m going to be gone all day and I need to get this out before I lose my nerve. I am...incredibly thankful for all you’ve done for me these past weeks. We got off to a rocky start but never once have I regretted summoning you. You’ve taught me a lot about who I am and, well, who I was.

So thank you, Ishtar. Thank you for becoming a close friend and...a steady lover. Heh maybe there is some greater reason I ended up trying to summon you specifically out of all the other options.

I think I love you, Ishtar. The thought makes me dread the end of this war.

There I did it. I’ll be back after dark.

A godly encounter (closed RP W/ ask-ishtar

Ken a teenage P.I. is on a job. He’s looking for the god Philemon, he who lives within the realm of the consciousness and unconsciousness of all souls. The Shrine maden ask Ken to see if he can find and remnants of the god. Even though he’s in everyone, he has on an occasion to appear in our realm.

His symbol is a Blue Butterfly. With that knowledge he heads to the nocturne verse a reverse of a location but home to demons and other beings. He investigates and talks and/or beats up some of the inhabits for information.

A Jack-o Lantern told him about a woman that was seen around the outskirts. She was normal like the rest of the inhabitants This has Ken look into this woman an heads to the location of this woman.
