I remember him a bit from when I would visit Winterfell in my capacity as Lord of Bear Island. Polite boy, though not as spirited as his half-brother, Robb, if I recall.
The Night's Watch always needs good men, and I'm sure a son of Ned Stark will serve the realm honorably.

Bequeathing it to whom? Another family member? By rights it is my lady aunt's now. When I returned it to him at the Wall, I assumed it would be sent on to Bear Island. It was just--something I needed to return to him... I assume it will go to my cousin Dacey when she inherits the Island. I do not begrudge Maege or Dacey for that at all.
