CONTINUATION OF THE AIN X JIN FORBIDDEN LOVE PLEASE?!

Of course, they’d known they’d meet on oppposite sides of a battle eventually. How could they not?

Jin looked fierce in her armor, with those two sharp blades in her hands, Ain noticed, the ground shaking under his feet as he met her eyes. She glanced over at him, and for just a second, Ain saw her grip tighten on her blades.

“Come on!” Elsword yelled, shocking himself into Awakening. Everyone else followed suit. Ain hesitated, gripping his pendulum string, staring at Jin.

Could he really stand by and watch her die?

But he couldn’t betray his mission…

He couldn’t reveal his love for her, he couldn’t betray her, and he couldn’t betray the elgang. Time seemed to slow for Ain as Elsword rushed Jin, a rune already forming in his hand.

Jin’s blades crossed. She blocked Elsword’s strike, but Rena’s arrow was already piercing her thigh, driving her to stumble. Ain felt her pain as if it was his own.

Oh, damn.

He sprinted forward, dodging all his friends’ strikes, and threw himself in front of Jin just before Elsword’s last strike came down. With effort, Elsword stopped himself.

“Ain? What are you-”

Ain gritted his teeth and glanced back at Jin. Her eyes were wide.

“Don’t… kill her,” he managed, his heart feeling constricted by iron bands as he went against his mission. “Please?”

Elgang reacts to Eve accidentally wacking-up her wiring that awakened her 'maternal protocol'.

“Elsword. Eat your vegetables. They’ll make you grow.”

“You sound like Rena…” Elsword groaned, his cheek on the table, and vegetables firmly uneaten.

This had been going on for days. Somehow, bumping her hip into the coffee table last week had made Eve more… mother-ish. It was cute at first, but quickly got annoying.

“Aisha. Brush your teeth after dinner.”

The small mage said nothing, just swept herself away from the table, heading very clearly for the library and not for the bathroom. She liked to be the most naggy thing in her surroundings, thank you very much.

“Raven. You should-”

“Don’t start,” Raven warned, not even glancing up from sharpening his blade. Eve paused, then sighed and turned her attention to other matters.

“Elesis. Stop teasing your little brother.”

“Lu. You shouldn’t eat cookies before bed, you’ll get nightmares.”

“Rena, Ara. We’ll go bra-shopping together tomorrow.”

“Chung. Go do your chores.”

Ciel sighed and raised his hand for attention. “All in favor of getting Add to take a look at her and see if he can un-mother her?”

It was a sign of just how desperate the Elgang was, that the suggestion of handing Eve over to Add wasn’t met with an immediate dismissive cry of outrage.

How would the elgang meet their s/o on an AU?

Elsword is a high school student who doesn’t do well in classes but excels in sports. His s/o is on his soccer team and a good friend of his, and they get closer when his low grades threaten to kick him out of the team. His s/o helps him study and overcome the hard classes.Rena is the most likely to meet her s/o from a dating site. Because she’s a little older than the rest, she’s the most worried about not getting married.Aisha’s s/o is the one she was tutoring. At first she’s annoyed that she had to stay with them after hours to help them understand the subject, but over time she finds herself enjoying the private time.Raven was approached by his s/o first, at a local bar. He doesn’t open up easily, especially after the loss of his past fiancée, but he draws closer if they talk to him long enough.Eve works at a well known engineering facility, so she doesn’t have time for romance. That doesn’t stop her s/o though and they help her out in little ways, like bringing her coffee and taking off some of the workload. They become closer when she assigns them to work with her on a project.Chung is the student at a prestigious university, taken in because of his rich family. He’s very smart and diligent, refusing to let the money go to waste so he doesn’t open up to his s/o at first. When his s/o comes to him for study help, he admits it’s nice to see someone talk to him.Ara is her s/o’s neighbor in a small town, still living with her family. Her family life is hard, and when her brother isn’t home she wanders out by herself- which is how she net her s/o. They like to spend time with her out at cafés and flower shops and she thanks them for being so nice to her.Elesis is the volleyball club’s team captain. She’s very harsh with her drills but at the same time just wants her team to succeed. She notices her s/o trains a lot even after club is over and takes them out for a break, which starts their relationship together.Add is the engineering student who never has to go to class because he seems to get the grades to pass anyway. He’s not very happy about having a roommate either, so it takes a while to warm up to his s/o. They bond mostly from talking about their majors.Lu’s s/o is her and Ciel’s childhood friend, and the three of them stick together as orphans. They have always been by her side over the years and by the time they become of age Lu asks them out.Ciel’s in a love triangle over Lu and his s/o. It causes a lot of heartbreak with Ciel picking his s/o over Lu, but she recovers quickly enough and encourages their relationship.Rose is the foreigner who came overseas to study at the largest university in her s/o’s home country. But because of a mistake, she ends up at her s/o’s college. She’s very confused because she thought the place would be grander, and her s/o’s the only one who helps her sort things out. They bond even after she leaves because they take her out to see the best sites in their country.Ain works at a religious building, and is planning to take theology in college. He’s a counselor and one day comforts his s/o’s sorrows, at the same time annoyed that they’re not as dedicated to Ishmael like he is. They befriend him through volunteer work.
