Fading to Dust

Caitlyn’s hair whipped around as she saw the Ionian Wuju master fall, a pang in her gut. Not a fan for the extreme displays of emotion, or, in fact, extreme displays of anything, Cait was caught between rushing toward him and tending to his wounds with teary eyes, or accepting, as the rest had seemed to, that nothing would help him. 

She knelt beside him, laying her gun down. She tried smiling, to comfort him. “I’m sorry..”
