He was just about to head to bed when frantic knocking occurred on his door. Garen groaned. Who was out in this weather? He made his ways to the door and pulled it open- surprised at who was on the other side. “Sheriff?! W-what are you doing- get in here this instant!” Garen exclaimed, urging the woman inside. “You must be freezing! Let me get you some warm clothes and a blanket.”

"You’re not intruding, ma’am, I promise. It’s better that you’re in here and not out there." Garen remarked, giving her a smile. "Come with me, we can get some clothes from my room. They’re.. Obviously going to be a bit big on you. You can just have a shirt and the curl up in my bed for the night. It’s warm in there." He informed her as he moved down the hall.

"I'm not going to kick you out of your own bed for the night!" The two of them were walking together now, and yes, she was craving a wonderful mattress, and she might be the Sheriff, but that did not mean she felt it reasonable to take his bed from him. She smiled at his comment about the clothes. "Big clothes, small clothes, as long as they are dry clothes. And please, ma'am makes me feel like an elderly schoolmistress. Caitlyn is perfectly fine."

The woman was shivvering and she silently cursed her trembling body. As the door opened, she forced a smile. "I hope I'm not... No, I know I am intruding, but I hope that's okay." As he brought her inside, her arms wrapped around herself. "I'll tell you the whole story, I promise." She nodded. "I'd really appreciate that, Garen." She smiled through her shivers.

"Ezreal? You're drenched, you crazy boy, what are you doing?" She ushered him in, frowning at his dripping hair and clothes. "Bathroom's the second on the left, dry yourself off, you crazy kid. I'll get you something of Jayce's to wear." She paused. "... His shirt will be a dress on you, but it'll be dry."

Caitlyn’s dipped her finger into the cake mix, tasting it with an approving smile as she looked over her shoulder absent-mindedly. As her gaze returned to the window, she froze. Mixing bowl placed on the work-bench, she blinked. 

"Ez!? I have two questions for you. Dare I turn around is the first, and the second." She did turn around. “What in Runaan’s name are you doing in my house?!” Her voice hitched up about half an octave, expecting an answer, eyes firmly locked on the blonde's nose.
