“Nat…”

“Natalya…”

“Natalya!! Snap out of it!”

Natalya’s head snapped up as she focused on the person infront of her. It took her mind several seconds before she recognized who shewas staring at. Even more time before she could find her ability to speakagain.

“…Matthew…”

He appeared concerned for a moment before sighing in reliefand pulling her into a tight hug. She just stood there confused.

“Thank god! I thought I completely lost you too.” He pulledback to look at her.

“Why….why is there blood on you?”

He looked sad, “I got rid of the body so you wouldn’t haveto see it again…”

Natalya was just about to question him when a loud soundstartled her. She looked over to the door where the sound came from and noticedit was barricaded closed. The sound of groans and something slamming againstthe door resounded clearly. Suddenly the nightmare all became clear again inher mind.

“The door won’t hold much longer Nat….we have to leave…”

“….Zombies…”
