Mimipon (@ask-mimipon) @ The Dragonite: Mimipon unceremoniously drops onto the head of the dragonite. Her lightweight unlikely to cause any problems. Her little 'face' drooping down in front of the dragons eye,

"WOW! I've never seen a dragon like you before. You got thingys and do-wots on your heads that must mean you extra cool or extra shiny super special I bet you are really strong and can fly and can go really fast but not as fast as Bibi cos they are made of sparks and can woosh and buzz and pop as they move which is super cool and why we are bestest friends but but you are a dragon so you must already know that cos like dragons are wise and calm and granny says that you gotta respect em cos they know lots and are good and calm and not bullies unlike those spiking folk which breath cold at you they are so mean and pick on folks like it doesnt matter which is just silly cos why you pick on others it like picking on yourself...OHYEAMYNAMEISMIMIPON!"

(Ooc: Why yes, the lack of grammer in that is intentional)

[The Dragonite paused as his eyes narrowed and crossed, his fists lowering slightly. Alaka'i's demeanor also changed in response, pulling his head back in confusion as he eyed the pokemon.]

Spirios: Is this one of your brats?

[The Kommo-o gently scoops Mimipon off of Spirios' face, not even touching him in the process before putting the pokemon on the ground and far away while gently reprimanding her about the situation.]

[Once he was sure she was far enough away, he wordlessly turned back to the Dragonite before him.]

[A few seconds passed in silence before an armored fist flew into Spirios' jaw.]

The sudden presence of not one, but two pokemon was rather surprising for the Indeedee.

Before he choose to answer, he choose to have a look into both of them to see if they truly were just curious.

Satisfied, he returned his attention back to the cave before him.

"Caves are indeed dangerous. And your tendency to avoid them would do you well today. As I would not recommend going inside right now." He warned with an tired calmness in his tone.

He then glanced back down towards the Mimikyu. "Do not mind me however. I am simply standing watch per request."

Mimipon@Pikavee: Somehow Mimipon ended up on Pikavee's head, where they kinda just sat down. "I heard you are lost." The little kyu spoke up. "When I'm lost, it helps to ask others for a hand." They beamed a happy smile, "There is so many good folk around; far more than bad ones." They patted Pikavee on the head. Trying to reassure them. "So maybe these folk might be able to help you eh?"

She was somewhat startled upon hearing her voice as is; but feeling Mimipon on her head and realizing why she couldn’t immediately spot her made her freeze.

Such a tiny Pokemon on her body, where she couldn’t see her… a multitude of anxious, morbid thoughts filled her head as she tried to stay still. Notably, even though being petted felt really nice, she was lightly quivering a bit.

Pikavee: “Th-that’s what I hoped, at first. Now, I’m not so sure. It sounds like everyone here has enough things to worry about.”

Pikavee: “But to be honest, at least with the villagers… I think they need help more than I do. The disasters Lief talked about seem really awful for them. It doesn’t feel right to just do nothing, knowing about that.”

Lief: “You really are worried about that, huh? Well, I don’t blame you, for starters… but how would that be helping you?”

Pikavee: “Well… it’s the right thing to do, and maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to earn their trust first–?”

Lief: “Nope. Nuh uh. Remember what I said.”

Anonymous asked: So... What is the "evil" in that nice little town that you know of that we fail to observe, huh, butterfly boy?

Lief: “Which part? The whole thing about how ferals are treated, or the certain someone I mentioned that’s in charge of the place?”

Lief: “I mean surely I don’t need to justify myself to you on the former, right? As for the latter, trust me when I say that we definitely do not want the attention of the latter.”

Given the nature of these encounters–aside from it being out in the open to begin with, he’s assumed at least one witness to be present during his earlier talk with Pikavee, wherein he mentioned the prejudice in question.

Mimipon (@ask-mimipon) @Human: "Ah, you hair is so pretty!" They stare up at them with eyes full of wonder, a claw tentatively reach out to touch it. "How do you keep it looking such a pretty colour?"

In my younger days I had a deep red color, if you could imagine.

I suppose I got lucky and aged gracefully, hahah!

Due to an unfortunate accident (Read: Mimipon and Bibi playing with fireworks and Bibi getting their bandana caught as one went off) the little ball of electricity has somehow been flung towards the mysterious rift. Bouncing around like a pinball at extreme speeds, the lil bundle greats a flash of light in hope of figuring out where it is.

[The sudden change in brightness is enough to make anyone wince, the human doing just that as they squinted and lowered their gaze to adjust.]

Hayda--!

[The contents of the room are revealed in the light, sizeable as one would expect. Long walls formed of stone, some smoothed over the years and others still jutting from the surface-in a similar vein of a cave but much more spacious and somehow more welcoming than expected. The smoothest of the walls contained a humble facade-stained glass of shooting stars and beasts within them. To the side of them was a tapestry against the wall of an old star map, points marked with bright ink that managed to shine despite the overflow of light in the room.]

[Aside that, the room seemed like a combination of a study and an office. Enough space so that whatever appeared in the rifts wouldn't cause immediate damage, but definitely a room that was used in some capacity. Lightly decorated with draconic and astronomical trinkets, function over form, welcoming while professional. Reflective of the keeper of the space.]

[Nearby is a Haxorus glaring through the light in Bibi's direction. The large beast stares down the light as they wait in anticipation for a command.]

[The human shakes her head a bit, blinking as she looks to the ball of light with a slight squint.]

I understand your surprise, but you're safe here. Pardon my phrasing, but if you could dim your light just a little, dearest...
