Before Islam, People inhabiting the present-day region of Pakistan belonged to various different religions ranging from Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism as well as indigenous Pagan religions which remained isolated from one another due to harsh geography. In-fact, Early Hinduism itself is said to have originally originated from the Indus Valley Civilisation, which may have evolved as it spread to other regions. So has Sikhism, but that is a religion that formed way after Islam was introduced in the region
