I loved Carol & Manousos so much. Their interactions. Their stubbornness. Their animosity. Seeing two real humans interact again. Seeing them refute each other, argue, be sarcastic and witty, be annoyed. Seeing their similarities and differences clash. Seeing them clash.

I remember watching Vol. 2 and sort of cackling at this moment.

We're well acquainted with Derek and even Mary as Holly’s best friend, and so it makes sense for Mike to know their names. However, Glenn? They just met him five seconds ago and names were not exchanged.

I was honestly taken out of the moment specifically because of the way Mike paused dramatically before saying Glenn’s name here. Like, Oh no! Not Glenn!!… Wait, who’s Glenn? Like it just felt so damn out of place and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it.

But then I was thinking about how if it feels out of place, maybe it offers more than one purpose, like potential acronym bait.

Derek, Mary, Glenn? DMG? What exactly is happening here? Is there something I'm missing?
