I’ve noticed that the prank war seems a lot more,, Serious in this au than it ever actually was lol. Was that intentional or?? And if it is: are the relationships between the hermits negatively affected by the war??

It’s more serious in this au, yes. Ultimately it did begin as a prank war, but we’ve decided to take it in a slightly more serious direction. This is partly because of the fourth-wall thing where we’ve decided to make them seriously living in the minecraft/hermitcraft world (obviously, hermitcraft is just having fun in minecraft and therefore the “war” wouldn’t really matter to them) and partly because we think that logically, with all their powers, the war would most likely escalate into something that’s a bit more serious like you said! 

So, to sum it up, it is intentional! 

And yeah, some hermit relationships are negatively affected. Ultimately, though, we’re not looking for outright hatred or misery–the hermits are all still friends.

i read a few of the fics based around the prank war, and??? is the war an actual... WAR in this AU? cuz maybe its just angry doc but it seems much more violent than just a prank war

Sorry, we’ve gotten around to this ask a bit late, but yes! It’s a bit more serious than the prank war the actual hermits had going in their let’s plays. The ask I just published asks the same question, and there’s a much more in-depth answer there anon ^ ^ - Mod Seagrass

Ask Answering Time!

Hey! Mod Seagrass here, to clean up our askbox and have some fun along the way :D I’ll be answering asks for the next hour or so that have been in our inbox!  Just a heads up, if any of you would prefer not to have your dashboards flooded, just blacklist the tag “ ask-pocalypse” for the next couple hours ^ ^
