[OOC] Ah, glad you asked about this! I don’t write a lot of plot things down, so this really made me think about what I did haha ^^ Yes, it seems rather off canon, but I’ve always had a problem with ghost TYPES being dead pokemon (sorry, it’s a personal issue… I understand not everyone feels this way >w<).IMO, ghost types just seem like any other living pokemon - they need food, they need water, they can reproduce, and they can die (I think?). Plus if everything that died turned into a ghost type, they’d overrun the place. What a ghastly sight that’d be! (Of course, maybe not everything that dies has to become a ghost type haha, but for pun’s sake…)Anyways, to answer your question, Yes! Becoming a ghost type would still be a viable option! But I’ve just lumped it, in Rax’s case, with the “random specie” thingy, since, I figured ghost typing had little to do with actual dead ghost spirit thingies.
Just my thoughts on this… I’m curious now what everyone else thinks about death and ghost types… o.oA sorta-morbid topic tbh…?
