The birth of Crackshot, from Mr. Mod
Crackshot came from a couple of places within me, and I’ll touch on them each in detail.
First, his western style and accent are from my own origins out in Arizona where I did a lot of trail riding and some cattle ranching, though the ranching was after I moved.
His red coat has to do with my current job. In addition to my dairy farm I own, I work at a meat locker, the red is for blood. Morbid? Maybe but I enjoy my job. The black in the mane is significant of my battles with depression, but the green is for new hope. Green like new growth I’m spring.
He is a Pegasus because I have always wished to fly.
As for his personality, he is rather withdrawn from most of the world, prefers to live alone, like I do. He works hard and is extremely loyal and a little over protective, perhaps over regret for not having been a better older brother.
I myself am (not bragging) an excellent shot with the rifle and useless with a handgun, my parents were the opposite.
I’ve always had a knack for poetry, just the rhythm and the rhyme came naturally, honestly don’t know why.
And all of this accumulated to create the Pegasus pony you know and love.
