They were trained to kill and nothing more. Even on Earth, those who fought have difficulty navigating the absence of military structure, translating skills for employment, dealing with PTSD or trauma, and managing a lost sense of identity or camaraderie. Their mental health cannot be ignored, else I fear severe ramifications for Heaven.

It is not a stupid question. The wood was called gopherwood. That species no longer exists.

It was resilient, dense, and slow to decay. It was chosen because it would endure what lesser wood could not.

No living forests carry it now. It belongs to an earlier age of the world. But its purpose was fulfilled.
