If James was looking to see Lux again, he’d have succeeded, though, this time she seemed.... uncharacteristically introspective. Either that or standing perfectly still, half shrouded in darkness, and staring at nothing was a normal past time for her.

In the silence it was possible to hear some unfamiliar voices, and though they were faint it was hard to miss. They seemed to be coming from a place near Lux, but wherever it was, it was hidden away for now.

It wasn't too terribly often that the Prince went around and talked with members of the Royal Guard. Not that he didn't make conversation with them when he ran into them, he did that often, but he usually didn't go out of his way to say hello. Today, however, was an exception to that. After all, Royalty should check up on his protectors every now and then, shouldn't he?

"Howdy, James!" The Boss Monster greeted, cheerfully. "I hope things have been well around here."

Solo was sitting by herself in the grass of Waterfall playing with the ball she had received a little while earlier. She had nothing better to do after all. As far as she was concerned the most important things in her life were to make sure she ate, slept, kept clean, and went to school. But then she’d been reduced to a small child again. For what reason? Who knows. However it seemed she could no longer remember any of her life beyond the point she’d returned to. Much to the small child’s dismay the ball bounced out of her small hands and into the water floating just out of reach. Now this wouldn’t be a problem for most... unfortunately this particular naga had no idea how to swim.
