Mia stopped playing as she heard someone - or something - speak. It took her a few seconds to process who had spoken - it was a talking flower, apparently.
She lowered the flute to her side and turned to get a better look at the flower. It seemed that the flower - Aspicia, was it? - really liked her music.
“Oh - um - thanks…Aspicia.” She smiled slightly, glad that someone liked her playing. “I like playing music.”
“I didn’t know talking flowers existed. I assume you’re not from around here?”
(”Oh, umm...”)
Aspicia paused to look around for a bit, taking in her surroundings, before she looked back up at the stranger and shook her head.
(”Nope! I don’t think so, anyways. But that’s okay, I get lost a lot, but I always find my way back home. Oh, and there are plenty of talking flowers there too!”)
Technically, Sono was the only other talking flower but it didn’t really matter.
(”Oh, what’s your name? And do you want some candy?”)

Indeed a big tree, it towers over literally everything at 800 feet tall. Blyx crosses his arms again, clicking his tongue. “Tch. Somethin’ like that. Neva know what’s gonna fuckin’ happen with that thing lawhdin’ ova all a us… But… Yeh. It’s been real quiet. Asside from Ruru…”
Tenebris shoots up a stream of ink from the ground, like a geyser, so that it lifts her up so she’s tall enough to look Blyx in the eye, cocking her head.
“Ok you do realize you can’t just say “aside from Ruru” and not explain whatever that is, right?”

Blyx grumbles, his tail flicking. Seems he’ll have to prove it later, then… “Hmph. Well, yuh ain’t the foist, but we don’t got a lotta shite goin’ on heuh. ‘Sides, the Treeangle does ‘nuff bullshite that just ‘bout anythin’s possible.” With one arm, he points behind her. High and behind her. Oh boy, what could it be?
Tenebris turns around to see what he’s pointing at and... oh, a big weird tree made out of triangle. Honestly not the weirdest thing she’s seen.
“I’m guessing it’s magic or something? No, wait, it’s obviously magic I don’t have to guess anything.”
She shook her head.
“So you have huge magical tree that can do pretty much anything and yet there still isn’t a lot going on?”

His grin and ears fall into a frown. “…I ain’t fluffy, ‘n’ I ain’t cool. ‘m badass. Get it right.” Rude. He does relax just a bit, though, leaning back and crossing two arms over his chest. “…So… Yuh anotha fucka from anotha weuhd univoise?”
“Dude, you’re fluffy. You got fur. Just accept it. ‘Sides, you can be fluffy and badass. People can be two things.”
Then again, Tenebris did have a pretty high standard for badassery, considering her host was.... well, intense would be the right word, she guesses.
“Anyways, I wouldn’t put it that way but yeah, I’m another fucker from another weird universe. You get a lot of those here? ‘Cause you seem like you’re used to it.”

The scruffy cat named Blyx squints for a moment. “…Yuh don’t look like no awh no pumpkin, ‘n’ the only undaground neuh heuh is my cave.” He then leans back and spreads his arms out with a cocky smirk. “Well, Ten’briz, as yuh foist king, awh yuh impressed~?”
“I mean... not really? You’re only, like, two feet taller than me which isn’t really much by my standards, and you’re just a very fluffy cat so I kinda wanna pet you?”
She shrugs.
“Like, you seem cool but also you look like just another person or creature or... whatever. So, it’s about as impressive as meeting just an average random dude that you know nothing about is?”
Tenebris looks to the side, holding one arm with the other.
“And like I said, the Underground isn’t really here. Like, it’s on a different island, on a different planet, on a different universe. I’m not really great at explaining this kinda stuff, but that’s the gist, anyways”

Considering she’s currently in a forest filled with glowing trees made of metal in the shape of stacked triangles and chiptune music fills the air and she’s currently standing before a 9 foot tall, 4 armed, 1 eyed cat, yes, she is indeed far, far from home. The cat flicks his tail, one ear pinning back a bit, as if arching an eyebrow. “…’M name’s Blyx. ‘M the King a Pawhradise.” That’s one thick New Yorker accent he’s got, for a king. “That’s the name a this island. Wheuh yuh from, mm? Yuh coitantly ain’t from no neuhby islands awh nothin’, even if yuh a coicle.”
“I’m not a circle, I’m a pumpkin. Err, ink. Pumpkin ink. Or inky pumpkin? Whatever, whatever, that’s not important.”
She shakes her head, discarding that train of thought for now.
“I’m from the Underground, which is, like, another dimension or something? It’s, umm, wildly different from this place.”
Not that she didn’t like this place, whatever it was. The music was a nice touch, in her eyes.
“Anyways, I’m Tenebris, not that you asked. I’ve never met a, uhh, king before.”

A smarter person would probably see the hulking pink figure and run in the opposite direction or maybe just go about their business and try not to disturb it, but Tenebris wasn’t that person.
Besides, she could handle herself.
As it was, she knew she was pretty far away from home, so she needed to find someone to help her navigate... whatever this world is.
“Uhh, hey there. Yeah, I think it’s pretty obvious that I’m not from here so, well, who are you and can you tell me what this place is?”

Tenebris had long since discovered the piano room. Well, maybe she hadn’t discovered it, after all, she wouldn’t be surprised if this is where Lux had learned to play, but she didn’t really have that memory so it was at least a discovery to her.
Yeah, ink memories were hard.
It was also hard for her to go out and meet people considering Sono disapproved. Not that that in itself stopped Tenebris, but it sure as hell didn’t make it any easier and it was already pretty damn hard given the lifestyle of all the others.
So that pretty much left her with an empty corner in Waterfall and a piano, but at least she could practice music in peace and quiet this way. That is, provided no one overheard her and decided to start poking around, but what were the chances of that happening?

Aspicia had just been wandering around, but she heard music, and it made her curious. As it was, she didn’t really have anything better to do, and all the time in the world to waste, so the flower decided to follow the sound until she found it’s source which was.... was... she had no idea what kinda creature they were.

Yeah, she had a couple of questions but those could wait. After all, she was just curious, there was no need to ask anything right away.
