Pioxys Live Blog Statuses & Updates
From the hype train to the new run, to visual novel revamps, I have a tons of things I wanted to cover with you guys today! Since there's so much I have to say, lets break this down topic to topic.
First up, I kinda wanna say that sorry I've been so detached from this blog for a long time. Not only from intermission but runs in general. With daily life, art projects, and just not plain feeling it, Anniversary Red was originally the last run I wanted to live blog only. After Touhou X Moe was done, something just felt wrong. Seeing ya guys in the tags here having a blast while the Reddit at that time was another story really made me realized I've been not only cut off from this blog, but cut off from all of you lovelies who gave me the burning passion to begin with. So with that said, your happy go lucky live blogging, ask blogging, random reaction causing pokemon freak is coming back in the game and ready to entertain all of you guys who came for they want. Twitch Plays Pokemon news and a bunch of other random thing. Even if some of you guys don't want me back for reasons... Too bad. Tumblr community of TPP was my waifus first. You're stuck with me.
So here we go cause like I said.... We got a lot to cover.
Pokemon Randomized Alpha Sapphire:
Oh man let me start off by covering TPP in general by saying we're finally coming down to the final 10 days of the long awaited new run! A lot of people didn't see Touhoumon X Moemon as a official TPP run for various reasons and I can understand that, but now your wait will finally come to an end as we revisit the land of New Hoenn in a more exciting and crazy twist than ever before! I tell ya, I can’t wait every minute of it!
For those who haven't been keeping up with TPP runs after Emerald, a randomized run is pretty much well... randomized. Your starter, the pokemon you encounter in the wild, heck even gym leaders and champions, all pokemon in the game will be at random for your chaotic amusement.
Time literally flies doesn't it seeing that Heart Gold was out last randomized run, and we did that run LAST YEAR! Honestly I never did see the randomized runs as impactful as the originals, however this time around I'm actually very excited for it! I still love the randomized runs cause it brings a new element to TPP gaming and fan arts/lore to the table. From Comewist armies to werewolf women, to tri attacking Zigzagoons, to even freaking mega punching Tailows. What randomized Alpha Sapphire has in store for us will be the true mystery as we march forward.
Now lets talk set up on how this run is going to work. We don't really know how is this set up or what it's completely going to be like other than it's going to be a new randomized run. However there's seems to be a brand new twist to the table. This factor seems important since it looks like dev team working with the streamer want to make sure this run is not only chaoticly random, but a big challenge to us as well. That's right peeps, things were that Revo and the others are planning to jack up the leveling curve (maybe like Anniversary Red?) to give us a true run for our money (again) seeing that gen 6 games are fairly easy from what I'm told.
While they add it, can they give us a little something something? Like ya know... something special after we beat the game... Something that either Brendan (if we're May) has a certain team of pokemon we was familiar in the past? Or maybe (if we're Brendan again) we go to a certain old secret base and see a familiar face for a final battle? I'm gonna keep my hopes up for that one cause it's always a possibility.
Twitch Dates Pokemon Revamped:
If you played it before and have a great interest in it, you're in luck because Twitch Dates Pokemon came out with a new Week 1 Revamp Edition! For those who don't know about this yet, Twitch Dates Pokemon in general is a Pokemon dating simulator where you're RJ The Espeon (AKA Burrito), and is set off to Twitch Academy where he meets many familiar faces we've encounter in the first 2 Twitch Plays Pokemon runs (maybe even more in future installments). The project been on for months or highly even a whole year, and man did this game delivered. The game plays out as a visual novel, but you have choices that determines what route RJ will take. Each course of action affects your story and lead you with different suspensful and very good endings that leaves you begging for week 2 right away.
I myself still need to check out everything else in story development cause I've only done the Mary route apparently. I waiting for Week 2 to come out so I can feel like I'm continuing where I left off, then come back to the rest of the character's story when I'm done my certain routes.
So now you must be asking me what's so special about the revamp addition, and my answer is simply what you're seeing at the set of pictures about the game. New CG's or (official artwork) has been added in certain parts of the game for that cinematic feel. See it like Sakura Angels or something like that where as you progress, the scenery not only change, but introduces a special picture of a special moment. There's PLENTY more where that came from. I haven't even completed this second pass by of this game yet. I just saw Brian holding a sandwich, awed about it, and came flying here to tell you guys how much I found that scene freaking adorable.

I downloaded the game, tested it out, and just like before, my laptop didn't end up burning in flames along with my house. So I can give it the Pioxys okay seal of approval in trust.... I'm gonna need to draw a C3 badge for that some day.
Ask-TwitchPKMN8+ Season 2 Opening & Progress:
Now that we got the TPP related things out of the way, we're moving on to the big questions about myself. With Randomized Alpha Sapphire going on, and this ask series going about, what am I planning to do next?
If you're of a follower of my ask-series, get pumped because the long wait is finally over. Ask-TwitchPKMN8+ Season 2 is now finally open! Seriously holy crap, it's since December I've closed the official story arcs down. With you guys and the Reddit's love and support, I had to literally back track from ask the first ever ask to the current ask of today, and booooy did that took me a good hell of a week or 2 to keep up and think of new ways to keep the series alive.
Although some of you who already knew that seem to notice that I'm updating a little to slow on that series to even give me a heads up in my inbox in rare times. With Season 2 big grand opening, I would even expect myself that I go rapid fire on these ask. The thing is, this is where I have to be real with you guys. This time around Ask-TwitchPKMN8+ will be now updated on its own time pace.
When Season 1 got intense in the Kalos saga, I found it starting to notice and feel that this series started to have a massive impact in my daily life. I was so to drawn into getting something done, that time zooms by me and I just missed another day of doing something productive like job searching, working on other art related things, or just enjoying the outdoors. I want to make sure this series is at it's best, but at the same time I'm just about burning out on keep up with it everyday. Especially since story lines are getting more intense, Solareon Wars coming back soon, and as you can see, even the blog itself is getting a new and improve make over.
New logos, new background, and soon to be a new cast members page with all the info you need to learn about the characters from TPP history, to Season 1 history! So I'm going to be starting off very slow on this blog for a while and update every 2 - 4 days (I hope). I'm trying to see if I can find 2 days in general I can just have only for updating the lovable ask series. Strain as it gotten before, I can't say that I hate it. It wasn't just me, it was you guys that we put thought, randomest, blood, sweat and tears to see these characters grow to the one of a kind cast we see today, and it's only going to get better!
Juuuuust it's going to have a slow start... Like a Regigigas type of slow start. When I have days where I just explode with ask like confetti, hell yeah I'll update right away! Main point is even though I had a mega blast with you guys with this, I don't really want to have Season 2 of this series as my main objective like I did with season 1. I want to expand some of my other works so I don't feel so locked working on this series all the time. That way I always come back fresh and strong with what I deliver in the ask series. So please, feel free to drop an ask anytime you like. It's no bother to me and it gets me pumped to work something with it.~
Plus I think this is a good thing in general..... with over like what 400 ask (?), you guys who are new to the series and is curious about it can check out the archives, and catch up with everyone else much faster.
So finally (and I do mean FINALLY), I want to be straight forward and get a little open hearted to you guys and explain what's going on with me and what I'm planning to do since the new run is around the corner.
During these 50 days I've been bouncing from under table jobs to helping out my family to keep things in good terms. Things been in the rough for me like always but things are truly looking up this year compared to 2014 (which was a depressing year for me believe it or not). So now with life getting better, and I'm well adjusted to my personal life situations, getting the flow back on my works and feeling that TPP hell rush excitement, I'm back in action and ready to get this show on the road!
When it comes to live blogging you know me already. If any important with me not happening, I'm gonna be around clock, on patrol, stalking all you great people in the TPP stream, while giving you as much content and information as I possibly can to keep you all updated (Just like I've done in previous runs I've participated in). You guys already know me on this blog, I'll talk and poke fun out of anything we literally do. We jump over a ledge, I might talk about that. We beat up our pokemon in doubles, I'm gonna talk about how we abuse our pokemon. Sky the limit when I'm live blogging and you guys clearly seen that madness when it came to Anniversary Red. So here's to a part 2 in that random madness!
As for artworks and stories/lores, I've been ask if I was going to do anything related along those lines since I didn't really do anything for Touhoumon X Moemon. Answer is this time around: Hell yeah your #1 TPP live blogging maniac is gonna keep up with TPP Pokemon Lores and achievements to be part of this beloved action like other runs I've joined the fun in. I will be more on the stream tough than my works. Or maybe that'll be the other way around. Either way, I be around and ready to get my fingers ready to draw on my laptop touchpad for a new idea I'll always love to present.
It also goes without saying because of the new runs happening, Ask-TwitchPKMN8+ Season 2 might be updated even slower since I have to be keeping up with the blog & stream endlessly
(unless something calls me in or I wanna hang out with my friends.
I have a life outside of TPP I swear!).
All jokes aside though, that's what I'll be doing from here on out. Words can not express how thankful to have you guys following me after all this time. All I really got left to say is lets have a blast when the new run comes out, and I'll see you all in the Randomized Alpha Sapphire grand opening stream! :)
