just two nights ago, on a sports platform, he referred to immigrants as “you people” and went on a rant shitting on them over poppies.
he has terribly cold takes when it comes to hockey and it’s players. he’s still living in the 80s.
if you’re not a white canadian male then he has little to no praise or respect for you.
he calls anyone who shows emotion, heart, or appreciation for safety in the game “soft” and says theres “no place for that in hockey”.
and that’s not all. it has been years of this behaviour. so no, i don’t think i would say it’s a reach lmao.
