What is the lore with Alfa and his mountain burrow :3c

Also, did Sector and Alfa meet the same way, or is how they meet change?

Some excerpts from an old journal they had :)

Alfa has been in that little burrow of theirs for a long time now, those trees they planted are what became the floorboards and other wooden fixtures around their home. There are many self portraits that they've painted over the years that decorate the walls. You'd think they had a long family dynasty with how many there are but its virtually impossible for them to start a family at all. (until Sector ;])

Sector and Alfa meet differently this time. They found him lost in the woods near their home and so guided him away to that nearby town that they kept an eye on and helped him settle there for a while.

After some life threatening situation Alfa ended up taking Sector into their home to help him out. While he was recovering and just kind of getting his bearings Sector ended up wanting to stay with them and liked it better than in the town or anywhere else they offered to help him settle. (Alfa also got attached so it worked out in the end uhjasdf)

How does your oc view housework? Do they absolutely hate it? Do they enjoy having their surroundings neat and tidy or do they not notice?

(( another non specific one! U know how it is )) Howard doesn't really mind doing chores, but they much prefer the ones that let them get outside and get fresh air. If there was more landscaping to be done around their house nowadays they'd get out as often as they could. They keep things tidy, in the way one would organize a workshop, everything neatly in its place, but you can see it all pretty much.

Charles and Alice both grew up with someone else doing the chores for them so being adults who live together, they're glad they both have magic to just quickly get rid of the mess. Alice in particular HATES getting her hands dirty (in an unsexy way, if its hot she doesn't mind ghadsgsdf) She maintains some kind of organized chaos, but doesn't really care all that much, as long as she can find things. Charles on the other hand is a man who likes his organization. everything has to be in rigid order and perfect otherwise its a huge mess. The act of putting things in order is something they find super enjoyable and they can and have done it for hours and hours.

Alfa enjoys the rhythm and mindlessness of the routines, with all the time in the world, why not take it? They usually stay on a single thing until its literally as complete as it is ever going to get, (ex. ask them to polish a ball of mud and you will receive a mirror finish) They build lots of things that need maintaining so they take the time to keep things running for as long as it would physically stand it.

How competitive is your oc? Is every little task something that they can win, or are they just in competitions for the fun of it? Is there anyone they're most competitive with?

(( non specific yet again! I'll just write who would have the most interesting answer )) Charles is super serious so when they do something they have to go ALL IN or its considered a failure. Their intense nature makes them see everything as a challenge to be won and will defend their victory with everything they have. Being a control freak (except in bed igkhak) makes them see their own achievements/successes as hard truths about their worth as ruler, fighter, as a friend, and as a husband. Failure and/or losses have a tendency to make them angry and they can obsess over analyzing what went wrong and making plans b-z for future occurrences.

If the world counts, then he's competitive with the rulers and armies that defend it. His empire is an extension of himself and their failures can cause just as much distress as a personal failure.

The only ones he can maybe take L's from are probably Heros, his closest (and only) friend, and Alice (his wifey).

How easily does your oc get attached to things? Does everything have a sentimental value to them, or do they see nothing as more valuable than its practical use? What about with people/animals?

Alfa is an immortal who literally can't die so they keep little things, keepsakes for the good times and reminders of the really fucked up shit they did so they don't do it again. If its something like a tool or an item of clothing they will use it and maintain/mend it until it either becomes a keepsake or just cant hold any longer.

If its people, since its hard enough to gain any sentiment with them, their friends are few and far between. but once they come to care about you, they will pretty much do ANYTHING for you

Alfa's relationship with animals is a complicated one but tl;dr: they are respectful and honour the sacrifices of the animal's life so they could eat, clothe themselves, provide materials. They waste nothing. they don't keep pets.
