im not talking about just busy with work and neglecting because aeres will proactively seek you out for your attention and care. When it reaches to that point and you still prioritize work or whatnot over him, that is when things start to escalate between you two.

to aeres, he has clearly expressed that he needs you. yet, if you continue to act indifferent he will begins to get paranoia

clearly, there is a reason you would suddenly neglect him, someone else that is diverting your attention— he will believe that you’re seeing someone else at work.

even if you aren’t, he will find ways to convince himself that you love someone else

he will confront you about it and if you still don’t provide any sort of comfort and give him a shoulder, your cold shoulder is basically the confirmation that he needs
