Hey, darling! 💜 My last question for Askalanche.

If Frankie had to be haunted by a ghost for the rest of his life, but could choose which dead person would that be, then who would he choose as his personal ghost?

Ok so I am late but this is such a good question.

So post TF I would say he would definitely choose Tom. Mainly because he would want to reassured that Tom is ok after what happened, partly because he misses his friend and partly as a way of torturing himself. In the film he blames himself for Tom's death. I think he would want to have that constant reminder that he messed up, to make sure that he never lets himself forget. Because he just seems that way to me, he'd be so hard on himself.

Pre TF I think he would have picked someone close, a family member perhaps, someone he missed, a grandparent perhaps. Someone he felt safe with, comforted by or someone who's advice he missed.

I think he would want to figure out how to make backs not hurt. I'm not sure how that would be achieved! lol

I need to know, and I know you hold the answer to this question, do you think Frankie would enjoy watching the Mandalorian with you? And so you think he would love Grogu as much as you do?

And if they met, would these two pilots get along?

Thanks so much for this ask, and it has been so fun this month, and I hope you have fun catching up on all the shenanigans.

He would absolutely watch Mandalorian with me (its canon in my fic), think Grogu is cute, and root for Din's growing love as a father to him.

I think he would think my love for Grogu is adorable (I hope anyway lol)

I do think they'd respect each other as pilots, Frankie would find Din very interesting and admire him, albeit a little intimidating at first.

We know Frankie has some amazing Ride or Die friends in Will, Benny, and Santi. Who else in the PPCU, if they met randomly, would he feel as close to/connected enough to consider another bestie?

Okay so what other Frankie fellas would be besties with Frankie

Frankie is incredibly loyal, struggling to settle into the world after Delta Force, wants to be a good dad and husband and I think he'd connect particularly with Clint, Din and Joel, they all have spent time in violent worlds, are parents, doing their best.

I think he'd see some of his lesser attributes in Joel and while Joel is trying he also has a stubborn streak that can get in his way... I think he'd want be close and help Joel, he'd find Din very aspirational, his quiet competence and discipline, of course the helmet thing is a little weird- he'd want to learn from him, and Clint is a sort of perfect fit, someone changing his life. I think he'd become close with all three, but Clint would be his bestie.

If Frankie could put a new word into the dictionary, then what would it be, and what would be the definition of it?

Helloooo! What a wonderful question!

I think if Frankie created a new word, it would be in relation to someone he loves. it could be a word that invents to define how much he loves that person, a mixture of love and devotion to express how much he feels.

But I lack the creativity to make it, so I'll let anyone make up their own, imagining Frankie whispers it to them.

(He also made up an insult specifically for Santi. And he calls him it quite a lot)

What musical instrument would Frankie like to play?

Oh I love this 🥹

I feel like Frankie would play guitar — but only for you. Not in front of a crowd, not to show off. Just sitting on the edge of the bed or out on the porch at night, softly strumming while you listen. He’d shrug it off like he’s “not that good,” but he’d remember your favorite songs and play them anyway.

Or maybe a harmonica he keeps tucked in his jacket, something he’d pull out on a quiet evening just to see you smile.

He’s not the performative type. He’d play low and gentle, just for you — like it’s something private the two of you share. And that somehow makes it even more romantic. 🤍

Oh, you're asking the wrong person about music playlists. I don't even know what my top 5 songs would be. I don't want to leave you completely hanging though, so I will give something general. I'm thinking in the vein of classic rock or even alternative rock. Upbeat stuff. Maybe songs he heard a lot while in the military.
