How would Alex be when his closest friends to her are male? They call her princess and the love of their lives they hug a lot, will he be jealous or?
Alexander is an alpha male, type right? So naturally, he’s very trusting, he’s not insecure, and he comes with a shit ton of silent confidence that you can just feel exude off of him. And our reader is thankful for this, because she knows her guy friends can be...a lot? She wouldn’t be surprised if Alex was completely turned off from it, because other people have been in the past. She grew up with them, and they’re extremely over protective of her, sometimes too much. Hell, they even scared a few of her other boyfriends off, but they just could never seem to shake Alexander. He just watches and listens. They purposefully lay it on thicker when he’s around, kissing her head, bring up memories in bad taste. But It’s like he’s immune to their little comments and jokes. He plays everything so fucking cool, but inside? He’s fuming. The fuck do they think they are, anyway? She’s his girl, and they clearly all want to fuck her, in his opinion. And maybe he calls Gustaf to vent about it when he gets a moment alone, because, there’s no way in hell he is jealous and only Gustaf can talk him down. Bill would probably laugh a little. And our reader is giggling and happy, as far as she’s concerned this is wonderful, but a small part of her just knows Alex too well, and she just feels like something about it bothers him. But he knows how how to hold shit together when they’re out, and this particular instance they’re in a small pub, they’ve got a table nestled in the corner, it’s nice and dim. All night, they’ve been buttering her up with the compliments, throwing their arms around her and buying her drinks, giving her kisses on her face. But see, it’s normal for them, it’s not sexually charged at all. And Alex just watches silently, eyebrows raised, nursing his IPA, giving a small chuckle and shaking his head. When they’re all leaving for the night, and everyone hugs goodbye, and they’re in the cab ride home, she can’t stop going on about how much fun she had tonight. And he’s genuinely happy for her, but he feels the slightest urge to say something. “Those boys really love you, mm?” His voice was tired, and he smiled softly. He has been listening to her carry on for about three minutes and he finally broke his silence. She paused, “Those three idiots? Please.” She has to refrain from sounding too surprised, honestly, she should have expected that he would say something. But she were just praying he wouldn’t, that he would just leave it alone for the night, that they could brush this one under the rug. “No. Not please.” He starts again, nudging her knee with his. There it is, that dominance she loved, that scared her and made her clench her legs together. There’s a small silence now, a pause, and his eyes darken. It had started raining, and the the drops were pattering down on the windows. It was silent except for the sound of the tires sloshing on the wet pavement and the humming of the car, and she froze, unsure of what to say, unsure of what to do with this look in his eye. He moved closer, so his long legs and huge knees were were were flush against hers. “Don’t say please as if it’s not true. Or as if I want them to be in love with you. It’s cool that they are...I mean, who wouldn’t be?” Thanks, Gustaf. Still silently, she looks at him with her doe eyes, still unable to find the right words. Was her upset at her? She couldn’t really tell from his indifference, and she was pretty sure there were a few moments from the night that could have ticked the Swede off. Swiping his tongue over his bottom lip, he tried to speak again but then paused, gathering his words then starting again, wrapping a large hand over her small knee and lowering his voice. “Long as they know you’re all mine.” His eyes are still dark and overcast, and she swallowed, nodding. “They know...Alex.” She responds, eyes never leaving his, and he squeezes her knee and gives it a little pat, then leans in to give her a small, soft lingering kiss on her lips. “Good, champ.” he whispers against her lips.
