mm for scarlet hollow i think again, the takes do seem to be v good but X[ ill be honest i do think smtimes ppl pay lip service to tabby's complexity rather than engaging w/ it....like i also agree that she's one of the best characters in the game, she's extremely sympathetic, she's extremely well written, and i must make it clear that i'd MUCH RATHER a fandom bbgirl a character like her rather than reject her like many other fuckass worthless fandoms would, i'll always support stuff like that fully!!! but i do wish ppl would contend a bit yeah bcs like X'[ well 1. idont think her worst attributes being discussed make her character less interesting or sympathetic 2. the racial and political themes in the game are in no way an accident and while her position is clearly a curse, it also grants her a weight to throw around that she is More Than Happy to do, at the detriment of people who have no choice but to comply. and she's in my top three!!!! so again this isn't hate at all!!! ijust wish i saw more discussion abt it ☹️💖

thts a good one im not sure...i think whenever ppl act like dsmp wasnt good it feels so reductive and like. ashamed? it feels like it's beating anyone who might hate it, or judge you for liking it, to the punch by shitting on it first. and while a healthy level of "knowing what something is/what it can offer" is totally reasonable, i often talk abt its flaws and parts i believe where it truly faltered, but it gets tua point when you dedicate sm of yrself to it (or did in the past) but can't acknowledge the good it in. bcs dsmp is good. being good at improv is a skill. being good at comedy is a skill. being able to act emotional scenes w/o shame is a skill. dsmp was made by a lot of creative ppl w a lot of love, and were able to craft a v coherent, v human, v charming narrative despite all its running threads, BECAUSE it's well executed! that doesn't happen on accident!! i will never be ashamed for liking some shit that is so gas and ill never agree w the ppl addicted to putting it down while liking sm shit like homestuck or fnaf or sm fuckass gacha 😭 WE ARE NOT TWO CHEEKS WE ARE THE SAME CHEEK.
