Longer than he’s certainly used to, that much was certain. He sucked in a sharp breath as he maneuvered a bit just to take a seat. It eased very little.
“Just a little while,” He finally offered, while one hand covered the area of injury at his hip. “ it’s not so bad.”
Not so bad? Frankly, it was hard to gauge what was bad, and what wasn’t. It was almost on a daily basis where the Man of Steel took mighty beatings, but almost never, to his knowledge, had anything ever broken through his skin, let alone his suit.
His own blood was a bit alarming.
“It just stings like hell...”
