Ganryu: "Eh, that's hard. Everyone's an idiot in one way or another. I've had the best experience with the FWL, I think. I've never had a contract with the Magistracy go tits up. Liao... I wouldn't want to live in the Confederacy long term, but the people are some of the best I've ever met. The new Star League is... interesting. If they can make things work, then good on them, I look forward to their contracts. And Steiner has some of the best grunts I've ever worked alongside."

Scalpel: "Not the Federated Suns."

Guru: "I can find something to respect in most of the factions we've dealt with. What's the old saying? Everyone thinks they're the hero, they just have different opinions on what's good?"

Boom Boom: "I'mma keep it real, chief. I don't respect factions. I respect individual people. A person can be cool. People as a collective suck."

Macross: "Phwoar, starting us off hard, huh? Ah, right now I'd have to say Liao and Marik, plus a handful of merc companies we've worked with that have been really respectful. I would say Steiner as well, but good GOD I have only met ONE Hauptmann that was competent, and he was also a nutjob. Cain, wherever you are - you absolutely glorious weirdo - you terrify the living shit out of me, and your grandpa's 'vibroblade' is a goddamn chainsaw."

Ganryu: "It pains me to say it, but my former home nation wronged my crew terribly. I cannot look at the Concordat without a grimace. Also the Federated Suns, but that's just because of old history. And the smug. The smug grates. Oh, and the Marians, but that goes without saying."

Scalpel: "The Federated Suns. And the Marian Hegemony."

Guru: "Uhhh... carp. Yeah, see my previous answer. Oh, except the Marians. Fuck the Marians with a brick."

Boom Boom: "All of `em suck."

Macross: "The 'new Star League'. The original just existed to create a division between the 'haves' of the Sphere and the 'have nots' of the Periphery, and that's what you want to restart? You're building on damn near half a millennium of bad memories and human rights violations, and that gets my suspicions up about where things are going to go in the long term. Oh, and the Marians."

Ganryu: "Solaris 7 - which was wonderful except for the actual work we were doing - Armaxa and Dieudonne. Of the three, I'd have to say Dieudonne was the best. Wonderful weather, and the best wine I've ever had."

Scalpel: "Nothing beats Illiushin."

Guru: "Okay, I have to put Illiushin down. Ah - I grew up there, most of us did, so the nostalgia is very real. Ah, Dieudonne was a great assignment. Had a nice fling with a fellow who had been Ja-er, never mind, he wouldn't want me to talk about him much. Oh, and Detroit! We didn't spend long there, but I could almost have stuck around in Flint. Incredible blues bars, and the best public transit I've ever been around."

Boom-Boom: "Solaris 7 - I dunno what the boss man has against it, I spent most of my life there and I loved it. Trent was cool - I grew up there, only had to leave because of The Legal Nonsense, y'know how it is. And, uh - what else - y'know, it's hard for me to say past that? We've been in the Hinterlands a bit, but we haven't had any super long engagements."

Macross: "Would it be cheating to say that I prefer space? You don't get shot at when you're on a jumpship. Generally."

Ganryu: "I'm currently using a very... very patched together Highlander. I hesitate to use a model number on it because it doesn't really fit any standard designation, but it's technically a downgraded 740."

Scalpel: "His name is Angra. He is a Cataphract 3L, and he is amazing."

Guru: "I've piloted the same Vindicator for ages. She's custom-vis-a-vis 'what we have to fix her with', but that's pretty normal for our unit."

Boom Boom: "So, disclaimer, I've been through a loooootta mechs. The current one's lasted a while, though. It's a Hunchback 4N with clantech upgrades. Better zappas, better booms, better freezers, the lot."

Macross: "You are looking at THE biggest Catapult fan in the universe. I'm piloting a mostly-stock C5A, but I'm looking into getting a kit to swap out the Artemis IV's from the C5 as an option."

Ganryu: "Kinda answered this one already - the Magistracy and FWL."

Scalpel: "Andres Cavum. He actually didn't lie to us once. That's rare." (editor's note: Magistracy)

Guru: "It's hard for me to not say House Liao. We had a really cushy garrison job there, relatively light combat, and we got paid with a buttload of salvage."

Boom Boom: "Harper's Hellions, prolly. They were a good crew, I gather we got paid well, and they watched our back. Though Craig was a real cunt."

Macross: "I have to say House Liao. They got me out of that accursed Yeoman and back into a respectable missile boat, and for that, they have my thanks."

Ganryu: "I think their system of honor is admirable, and the original goal of minimizing loss of life is ideal, but the fine details are misguided. I think that I had the strongest respect for Ghost Bear and their family-focused mindset, until the, ah, recent unpleasantness. I suppose that's the difference between seeing them from the outside and the inside. Dealt with Wolf Empire the most, they're... alright. Reasonable, mostly."

Scalpel: "Mad Cats have terrible cockpits. I don't see why they never fixed that. Flimsy."

Guru: "I... could pick apart the clans for ages, but mostly they confuse me. They have a dozen things that I admire and appreciate, and a dozen things that terrify me."

Boom Boom: "I slept with an Elemental once. I'm not used to being the short one. It's, uh. It was nice. Real nice." (2 minutes and 14 seconds of silence.) "What were we talking about? Beer? Pharaoh sucks, it's flavorless."

Macross: "I've done what I can to learn as much about their way of fighting as possible. The code of honor is just an exploit to be avoided, but the rest of it? Speed, long-range combat, minimizing casualties? Yeah, that's my jam. Especially the long range combat bit."

Ganryu: "The 'Lost Cameron' thing is something that I find amusing. There were absolutely other branches of the Cameron dynasty that could have stepped in, they just didn't. I believe that there are... unanswered questions about hyperspace."

Scalpel: "Yes." (editor's note: Scalpel is... uh... very OPEN about the sort of thing that would be talked about on Coast to Coast AM...)

Guru: "I absolutely believe that there are aliens out there somewhere. And I absolutely believe that they look at us the same way that we look at the non-sapient alien beings in worlds we land on."

Boom-Boom: "I got superstitions, same as any other mech pilot, but I don't like talkin' about them too much. If you do, they stop working."

Macross: "No comment." (editor's note: Jak believes in the existence of 'ghost mechs' such as the Black Marauder.)

Amon is alone admiring the evening sky.

Is kinda of a windy evening, the Knight doesn't feel the wind at all.

Their helmet's dark smoky plumes dance in the wind like the leaves from the trees. The sound of both things gives a wonderful mood for this quiet moment alone.

I think....That is time to go back.........To be me again...

They say this in their head, looking to those sharp gloves that one day was covered in blood.

The Knight was full of hope, that as their true form, people wouldn't be scared of them anymore. But..... they fears that something would happen again, making them hide behind a 9 feet tall scary Knight again.

Amon avoid that thought and in a blink of eyes, their dark armor disappears like smoke, just standing there a woman with a light pink curly hair and green eyes bright like esmeralds.

For the first time after long years, She could feel the wind on her skin again. A nostalgic feeling.

Ask Box is Open!

(After some thinking, I’ve decided to open up the ask box again~

Due to my streak of inactivity, I’ve decided to do a change of direction in the plot and focus a bit more on worldbuilding. To help with this I’ve introduced a few other characters as well. ^^

With the three of them being ‘official’, I’m gonna go ahead and open the ask box as well! Since to be honest, I really need to interact with the community more. x.x

But yeah! With them being open for interactions, the ask hints page has been updated! Although not an obligation, I know it always helps to have something to work off of~ You can find the ask hints page right here!
