"Rock-!" Cavalier called to the elder knight, watching him fall. No, no, no-! He ran to the fallen knight, ignoring their foes. He didn't care, he was going to get Rock out of here! "C'mon, stay with me, please."

How could they have known? Battle always seemed fine. Sure, he had the emotional range like a tether ball when punched, but he always came back to a normal. This time, that cord snapped, and the Crimson knight just flew off and never came back. They tried, truly they did, but nobody really know what to do with him. Battle was just gone.
And it was hard to think about, that way. Cavalier visited the knight in rehabilitation, with half a mind to sneak in his favorite spiced energon as a gift, but he thought better of it sheepishly. He didn't want to cause any trouble. The visit was platonic, very sterile. It was weird enough to see him still, but to be in a room that was still entirely intact? He shuddered the thought.
It was embarassing to think that it all started with a 'hey watch me' moment while they were drinking a few nights ago, but Cav still went to see Battle. He winced, seeing the mech was out cold. "You'll be up soon, won't you? Everyone misses you already." He sighed, leaving a flower that he was told to bring there by a certain fairy.

Cavalier had to see it to believe it. To think that the mech who symbolized strength throughout most of his life was down and out because of a battle, it was hard to. "Hey, c'mon." He waited to see Rock stir. "Please show them that you're not serious." He was hoping that Rock wasn't serious for once. "Wake up."
