"Edward… are you wearing my jumper?"
He blinks, heavy breath whistling from his nostrils as he takes a step back and presents his arms wide in response, offering a childishly proud smile as he displays his attire to the boy.

After an eleven hour plane ride from Munich, the last thing Augustus wanted to do was be on a bus for another two. This might be okay if the bus ride was scenic.
It's Augustus' first time in America. And all he can see are dairy farms. Cows. So many cows.
But soon there will be nothing but woods. Pretty soon, he'll be swallowed into forest, attend camp, and come back in eight weeks with wonderful memories, lasting friendships, and down twenty-five pounds.
This was all Doktor Hallberg's plan.
His mother, as she was packing away his clothing the the metal trunk the camp required everyone to bring, insisted that this will be wonderful for him. Augustus does not usually doubt his mother, but as the bus is winding through farm after farm, and the other campers are all laughing and hugging and squealing like they have known each other forever and he is sitting alone, he starts to.
