ask-cooro:
A large and gentle hand lifts the small black kitten from it’s perch on the man’s stomach and sets it aside on the bench. The cat leans down to run it’s rough tongue along it’s chest fur and then pauses to glance up, nodding eagerly at the offer of fish. Letting out an excited mewl, it spreads it’s wings and leaps from the warm, sunlit bench.
”Oomph!” The dark-haired boy hits the ground much sooner then he had anticipated with an ungraceful flailing of legs, feathers, and a thud. Confusion is written across the child’s face and hesitantly he shifts up onto his elbows and peers up. Looming above him stood a tall and foreboding figure, the boy’s face is set in dumbfounded awe. What was he doing here, who was that? Grass tickles at his exposed underside… why was he naked? His brown eyes are stretched wide as they quickly scale up the other in front of him.
”A-AH, SENRI!”
The fact of his nudity soon fully dawns on him and he scrambles to sit upright and draw his legs to his chest and then enfolds himself within his large crow wings. Bewilderedly, the child glances around at the shop behind him before turning back to his friend. Staring up into the face of the other, the boy wracks his mind for some kind of clue as to his predicament; Smoke, and some- something about food? Warm hands and smiling faces? He- he couldn’t quite remember. Struggling to get his words together, the boy finally manages to spurt out something sensible.
”Senri,
can
I
borrow
your
poncho?”
He stared at the boy for a moment, still in awe of what he just witnessed. He was a cat. He was a cat. Senri had never seen a +Anima transformation like that. And even more so for an +Anima that the person didn't even possess. This was beyond weird. And judging by look of his charcoal haired friend, he too didn't entire understand what just happened. Which came as a relief, as in the case that Cooro were too act about the situation Senri would have to seriously start worrying about his memory problem.
He blinked his eye, realizing the other had requested his poncho which he immediately stripped of and handed to the other. He stepped in front of the boy, blocking the view for shoppers looking through the window.
❝…You okay?❞ He inquired, he saw the other's descent, in which he could have easily scraped himself without so much as a piece of cloth to soften the fall. Additionally, he was quite concerned about the transformation. Sure, growing wings or claws was painless, however he also knew what it was like to go further than that in the change. If nothing else it at least feels uncomfortable, your senses are overloaded and you can feel what's happening to you. You can feel your bones shifting and your body practically breaking as it copes with the quick unfamiliar change.
