*Doc stares at the number he'd dialed on his com. Probably best to call first, rather than show up unexpectedl to his ex. He laughs bittersweetly. What was he doing? Oh well. Not like things can get much worse. His boyfriend is in a coma, his best friend in and out of awareness, his kid ran away from home due to the stress. Calling Ren won't hurt. Surely. So he presses the call button, bringing the phone to his ear.*
