I was having a really rough day today, and your art and kind words really helped cheer me up, @mod-jazzy!

As thanks, here's a drabble for your blog @askdruddigon under the cut!

A Druddigon munches on some rocks, as her wing-stumps fluttered in the breeze. Life was nice here. Life was good here.

But what if The Man Of Metal returned? What if scales tear again, chains again, pain again?

But RyleeHeke was here, and LadyBird was strong. LadyBird would be safe. LadyBird would be happy with friend and Tiny Fleshes and rocks.

LadyBird liked the Tiny Fleshes, especially when they didn't run. LadyBird liked talking with Tiny Fleshes, sometimes even becoming friends with Tiny Fleshes.

LadyBird was happy to be living out here.

Life was nice here. Life was good here.

(AskDruddigon)LadyBird@Gen: The dragon stomps up excitedly to see the oshawott again. "HELLO TINY FLESH!! Looking very tiny today yes!!" The druddigon flops onto the ground like a dog and rolls over to stare at Gen upside down. Her brow furrows once she notices the Oshawott's nervousness. "Why so shakey and tippy tappy? Is Heke upset? Is one being Not Nice to you?" The druddigon gasps and sits up suddenly. "ARE YOU COLD? I LAY ON YOU TO KEEP WARM??" She hovers over Gen in anticipation.

"N-no, I'm ok!" he lied, trembling even more than before. Well, physically, besides his body being an Oshawott instead of a human, he was ok, even if he hated his Oshawott body. Mentally...he was anything but ok.

He wasn't cold, though. And he definitely didn't want to be crushed by a dragon.

He hurriedly backed away until he no longer was under LadyBird's shadow, then said, "U-uh...h-hi, L-Ladybird. N-nice to see you again."

He waved one of his nubby arms at the dragon, giving a tiny smile. The dragon was...very weird, but nice.
