Confessions Bakugo x Reader

(A/N In this oneshot your quirk is called Botany which means you can make any plant (real or imaginary) grow anywhere. If you know of a magic plant in a book series that can heal people you can make it in real life and it still has those magical abilities. You are also best friends with Kirishima and Todoroki)

“Katsuki!’ You whine reaching your arms up trying to grab your phone from his grasp.

“Give it back!” You jump while cursing the height difference between the two of you. After trying for a while (and failing miserably) you stop trying to get your phone from the ash blonde boy in front of you and jut your lip into a pout while crossing your arms over your chest. He rolls his eyes and places your phone in the pocket of your hoodie. You beam up at him as a thanks.

“Whatever.” He grumbles with a scowl that didn’t reach his eyes.

“Thank you Katsuki.” You smile your biggest smile up at him and walk back to class with him still scowling.

“Good morning Kirishima!” You greet

“Have you asked out Bakubro yet?” He asks rather loudly

You glance around to see if he was heard by the hot tempered boy, “Kiri you can’t just say stuff like that out loud. He doesn’t even like me.” You whisper and cover his mouth to stop him from saying anything else you didn’t particularly want anyone else knowing.

“He likes you (Y/N) he’s just too oblivious to ask you out first.” Kirishima tries to nudge you towards him and you wrap some vines around your ankle to keep you from moving.

“EVERYONE GET IN YOUR SEATS!” Iida shouts drawing everyone’s attention to him. You use that as an excuse to get away from the red headed boy and sit at your desk. Mr. Aizawa walks into the classroom and begins to start his class.

When class is over you pack up all your stuff and walk out of the classroom with Todoroki towards the cafeteria and get some bubble tea.

“Maybe this weekend your dad will let you skip training with him and say that you’re training with me.” You suggest to Todoroki while sipping on your bubble tea.

“HEY! (Y/N)!” You hear someone shout from above you both. You look up to see Bakugo looking down at you from his balcony. You barely notice Todoroki continue to walk into the dorms.

“LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT. I HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU AND ITS ABOUT TIME YOU ACKNOWLEDGED THEM!!” He shouts down at you

“You tell her Bakugo!” You hear Kirishima shout from his dorm. You blush and pull yourself up towards his balcony with some grape wines. When you reach his balcony you grip the front of his shirt and pull his lips to yours. After a few seconds of kissing you pull away and hear some slow clapping. You both look to the side and see Kirishima on the balcony looking at the two of you. Your face turns a bright shade of red and Bakugo pulls you into his room.

The Idea of Me

Green eyes looked at me with a nervous light to them I could only call hope. “I love you,” she told me and I- I didn’t react despite the itch in my scar, my expression didn’t change; I was silent, trying to determine what she meant before I spoke. A joke? She seemed too serious. Practicing for someone else? I couldn’t think of a reason she’d pick me to practice with, we’d rarely spoken before. “You don’t know love,” I broke my silence. If I was being fair, I didn’t really know love either, but I wasn’t in the mood to play fair. The light went out as she faltered, “O-Okay, then,” a beat to think of a way to salvage a situation I was not going to let her salvage, “I like you.” Again I was silent, trying to think of the best way to kill her interest because I was so far not capable of love even if I’d been interested. “No,” my voice was colder than I’d expected as I rubbed my temples in an attempt to stave off the impending migraine, “you like the idea of me; you like the quiet mystery I present and already filled in the blanks yourself without ever actually trying to know me, otherwise you’d already know how this would turn out for you. You are not the first and you won’t be the last.” Green eyes filled with tears now, “Not even an ‘I’m sorry’?” she spoke through a sob. “I won’t apologize for your poor judgment.” Her gaze narrowed into a glare and I supposed I got my wish. “Go to hell, you ass!” A smile- maybe a little too wicked- crept across my lips at that. “Sweetheart, where do you think I’m from?”

You walked through the hallways with your friends, laughing at a joke Y/F/N said. You stopped paying attention though as Embry Call, a boy you’d had a crush on for years now passed by you in the hallway, only making eye contact with you for a moment before averting his gaze and speeding his pace up.

Y/F/N looked over at you sympathetically, “He’ll ask you out sooner or later. He’d be stupid to not take a chance on a girl as beautiful as you.” She comforted, twirling a piece of your hair in her fingers playfully.

You nodded, sighing as you looked over your shoulder only to not see Embry who had presumably gone to his first period class already.

Embry’s POV

Y/N… What a beautiful name for an even more beautiful girl. You probably thought he was just a creepy lowlife who thought you were beautiful, just like every other guy in the school. He wished he had the confidence to talk to you but my god you were just so much better than him in every way possible.

He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, someone else was going to make a move on you soon if he didn’t. It was then that he decided he was just going to ask you out. It was Friday night anyways… You probably weren’t doing anything… But what if you were? Then he’d look like an idiot.

Ugh… This was so much more complicated than he’d anticipated.

Your POV

It was the end of the school day and you were more than eager to leave school and go home. All of your friends were busy so you figured you’d just be staying home and watching a movie by yourself. Not that you minded or anything, you just wanted to relax for the night. Maybe you could finish your english paper that was due on Monday or something.

When the bell rang you all but jumped out of your seat and ran out of the room, math class was much more boring than you could ever put in words and just thinking about it made you want to go to bed. You made your way to your to your car but before you could get there you heard an unfamiliar voice calling your name.

You turned around only to be face to face with the one and only Embry Call. “Y/N I know this is really weird but will you go on a date with me tonight?” He quickly blurted out and you had to take a moment to process what he just said.

“Okay!... Can I pick you up at 6?” He asked and you nodded eagerly. “I’ll see you at 7- Or wait I mean 6 then!” He stumbled out excitedly and you nodded, giggling as he turned around and headed back to his car.

...So much for finishing that english paper.
