How do i know if its chat gpt written post? i wanna stray away from those

i had to use chatgpt for the entirety of 2025 for my last year of university (yes it was mandatory. yes i was a compsci major. lord help students of today) so i kinda just Know. however here are some easy tells:

it always does things in 3s. ex. "stop eating, start doing, begin choosing."

those damn em dashes, especially when commas just would have worked lol. ex. "and yes—we should start researching"

it cannot stop saying, "you're not x, you're y". ex. "you're not just ending things, you're starting them."

also noticed it will use ’ and “ ” (curly apostrophe / quotes) over using ' and " (standard apostrophe / quotes), which most humans do.

also if you see a blog putting out a lot of written pieces a day.. yeah.

also depending on the prompt, it will be neatly formatted in bulletpoints. usually with emojis, but it seems whatever new chatgpt has done the emojis less.

i lost one of the posts i saw, but here's one by the same blog. it has every single tell i listed.

tysm! i do tend to keep it pretty light with her, and then keep the little snippets of deeper things in my lore docs. coffi herself likes to keep herself seeming very carefree, and has a hard time giving voice to the trauma she has experienced even to her therapist.

so atm, i am essentially starting with a bit of "worldbuilding", showing everyone whats happening at a more 'macro' level before really delving deep into what coffi has to say about what's happened to her!!
