I really understand why you get annoyed when you know people are there and able to respond to your text because you see them posting/doing something online somewhere. But also, as someone who does that, you need to know that people don't always feel like talking. I try not to get mad when I see people posting on Tumblr but not replying because I know I sometimes do the same thing. Sometimes you just don't feel like talking. You wanna be online "alone", you know?

so weird. i remember responding to this, but it would seem as though i never pressed publish, haha.

essentially, i had said that i completely understand this, but i have this understanding with my friends that if i’ve texted them, they’ll respond when they see it (if they’re able to) either saying that they don’t feel like talking/can’t for now and will later or continuing the conversation. soooo, yeah it especially bothers me when close friends are on their social media but not responding to me for hours.
